This comfortable lake house/cottage sits right on Skaneateles Lake with 100 front feet on the lake.
It has a covered boathouse just waiting for your boat that you can launch at the end of the lake. It has a paddle boat, picnic table, chairs and gas grill on the lawn. There is a closed in and gated deck on the front of the cottage that is perfect if you have toddlers.
There is a huge sandbox and toys and a new firepit for roasting marshmallows.
It has been totally updated with new stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and other kitchen appliances. It has beautiful wood floors and old knotty pine paneling. Lots of eating space, with an "eat in" kitchen and table that seats 6. The big family room has a 2nd dining room table that seats six also.
The family room also includes a big flat screen TV, DVD player and HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS via WIFI router. It has a brand new washer & dryer.
With screen doors and wonderful picture windows all across the front upstairs and downstairs, you have views that will live in your memories forever!
It has 3 spacious bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. There is gas heat if you have an occasion at night to take the chill off. (Email for more photos)

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and this is a COMPLETELY NON SMOKING HOUSE.
Daily rates are available for September
Weekly rates from June through September (Rental weeks rent from Sunday to Sunday.) Check in is at 3:00 p.m. and check out is Noon.
Weekly rates range from $1,900.00 to 2,100.00 for 2013 (Initial Deposit is $750.00) There is also a cleaning service fee of $100.00.

There are games and other equipment in the cottage. Towels, sheets, all kitchen equipment are included. Paddle Boat, Chairs, Picnic Table, Gas Grill and some toys are provided for your use. There are fishing poles and water toys.
activities and attractions in Skaneateles Finger Lakes
Just 2 miles from the cottage is the famous Carpenter's Water Falls. A wonderful place to hike and swim in the creek, This picturesque spot is a photographers dream! A great place for a picnic!
The Glen Haven Hotel Restaurant is about 1 1/2 miles, offering fine dining with a well stocked bar. You can even go by boat, and use the restaurant dock for free.
There are many places to pick your own produce, strawberries, blueberries, etc.
You can fish right off the dock or from your boat. Many 2 to 3 pound Large mouth bass have been caught fishing right from the dock.
Fossils from the Devonian Era (250 million years ago) are embedded in the banks directly across the lake from the cottage. You can dig one out as a souvenier.
Of course the charming town of Skaneateles is just 10 to 15 minutes away with wonderful boutiques, and dozens of restaurants. You can take your boat to Skaneateles, tie up at the city docks and spend the day shopping and eating and then cruising back to the cottage. Also an easy drive by car, with views that will take your breath away!
The U.S. Mailboat delivers the mail every day to the house next door, the mailboat has been doing this since the early 1800's. There are only 2 lakes in the United States left where the mail is delivered by boat and Skaneateles is one of them. You can send a letter that you write, out on the mailboat.
The Glen Haven Historical Society is housed in a 100 year old one room school house just a mile away. They have interesting programs all summer long, and a play ground and tours of the school all summer.

The cottage is rented by the week. CHECK IN IS EACH SUNDAY AT 3:00 - CHECK OUT IS EACH SUNDAY AT NOON.
June and September (after Labor Day) is 1,900.00 per week
4th of July week - 2,300.00
The rest of July and August is 2,100.00 per week
