 This house sleeps up to 9 people only. Sorry No pets allowed.  We rent this house from Saturday to Saturday. Nothing less than 7 days.                                                                                                              

 House has seprate lower level apartment with it's own outside entrance, two bedrooms, full kitchen, full bath, this sleeps only 4 people. (2 Queen beds).   Upstairs (main house) is two bedrooms, full kitchen, full bath, this sleeps only 5people.     1 king bed, 1 full and a twin (are a bunk bed).   We rent the upper main house and lower level together, sleeps only 9 people. $ 3,000.00 weekly. Total of 9 people or less counting children are allowed on property including visitors. (total in your party only).    Boat slip available for $500.00 weekly. With a 24' boat slip for $3,500.00 per week with renting whole house.  We do have boat slip renters who will have access to the property and parking.                                                                                                       There is a $750.00 deposit required to reserve your dates. We do not supply any linens, (sheets or towels) You need to bring your own.    Sorry our property is not wheelchair accessible.

Excellent Rental

Just returned from an excellent vacation at this rental property. The location is fantastic and the house is perfect! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The house is only about a 15-20 minute drive to anything you need. Both Lake George village and Queensbury are just a short trip down the road. We also took advantage of two golf courses within 10 minutes of the house. The views from the top of the boat house are absolutely amazing and the inside of the house is nice and cool with central air and is extremely well equipped with flat screen televisions in almost every room. Unlike one of the previous reviewers we found the house to be spotless and in perfect condition upon arrival and had zero issues with the extremely nice and accommodating owners. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway on Lake George.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Had a great time!

My family and I had a great time at this home that was SO CLOSE to the lake we couldn't believe it. The location on the bay was great, and the views were AMAZING. Everything was as shown in the pictures and very neat and clean. There was plenty of space for us, including ample parking. The owners were very nice and helpful, taking time to show us around and answer any questions. We found it easy to leave the home clean and got our full deposit back quickly. We found this home to be much nicer and better equipped than others we had rented in the same price range, and a lot closer to the lake. We plan to go back again in 2012 if our week is still open.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Unfair Experience

Unfortunately I do not have any thing positive to report because of our recent experience. First, the bathrooms were very dirty. It appeared as if the toilet and tub had not been properly scrubbed in a very long time. I needed to scrub them before they could be used. The lower apartment was dirty. At first glance it appeared fine but once you brought in your things you soon realized that you could not put anything on the floor because of the dust, bugs and dirt. The cobwebs and spiders were ridiculous. The lint and and dust in the laundry room was unbelievable. The lower apartment has very low ceilings and feels like a poorly finished basement. It is very uncomfortable. The outside of the lower apartment is awful and you can not even sit outside to enjoy the view. We spent no time down there because of that. The condition was very disappointing. The bedrooms are also very small. It seemed odd that there were no posted pictures of the outside of the house. I now know why!!! Also the owners rent the boat slips and garage to other people so it is likely that strangers will be walking though the property without you knowing. Though the boat owner was very nice it would have been nice to know that your privacy was limited. The biggest disappointment was that the owner decided to keep a portion of my security deposit for some thing that we had nothing to do with. It was a scam! I left that house perfectly clean - far better then when I arrived. The owners admitted that the house was in good condition but decided to blame us for breaking things. It was TOTALLY not true. I tried to reason with him and never got a response. I tried a few times. Obviously he just wanted the money. I have rented my houses over the years and have never been treated this way. It is really to bad and people can be so unfair.

Owners response: Unfortunately we received an unfair review for people breaking a recliner, swival lamp, nail polish on the closet door. The renters left all there food in fridge and tomatos and garlic on the counter. There were sunflower seeds and popcorn left on the carpet also. This is why we require a security deposit for people who say they left the home as they found it. Our home is very clean and it is a great place to vacation. All of our renters left us very happy. We open our home to people and just ask that it is left the way you found it. We offer a paddle boat, large surf board for floating and kayak for your enjoyment. This home is 30' from the lake we do use a exterminator 3 times a year and there could be a spider here or there. We have an 18 year old daughter who freaks when she sees one so we keep them out. All of our renters with one exception, have very well mannered children. In my defence,I sent a letter with the balance of deposit explaining the deductions which were very minimal and we only recived this review and no phone calls or e-mails. Ken Hassan
