vacation rental description
Urban Loft about 5 Blocks from Convention Center!
This upscale loft has everything you need for a perfect vacation in downtown San Diego. The 1242 square foot loft has a chic urban feel, with stained sealed concrete flooring, concrete columns, exposed pipes, 11 foot ceilings, and minimalist but luxurious decor. The unit also has 2 outdoor spaces: one street-side balcony, and one large and well-appointed patio facing the inner courtyard.
The building itself is in East Village, which is San Diego's most rapidly developing, and one of it's chicest neighborhoods. The residence is 1.5 blocks from the Padres baseball park, 4 blocks from the Gaslamp (where the majority of the restaurants and bars in downtown San Diego are concentrated), 3 blocks from an upscale grocery store, across the street from another grocery store, and 3 blocks from drug store. The unit is also located only 1 block from the Park and Market Trolley Station. In the building itself you will find a bagel shop, a Starbucks, and an upscale soup and sandwich shop (all with indoor and outdoor seating), a UPS store, and a dry cleaner.
And for Comic-Con fans or Conventioneers, the condo is only about 4 blocks from the newly constructed pedestrian bridge linking East Village with the Convention Center and waterfront. Spend your valuable Comic-Con time in the middle of all the fun -- not waiting in line for a shuttle to take you to your hotel!
Each bedroom can sleep 2 people, and 2 more may stay in the living room (one on each couch), for up to 6 people. A 7th guest will be considered for an additional $50 per night; in that case a simple fold-out futon will be provided to be put on the carpet in the living room.
Rates are $500 per night, or $1250 per night during Comic-Con. If your group was planning to rent two hotel rooms at Comic-con, why not enjoy this spacious luxury accommodation at rates less than the price of 2 rooms in a low-budget gaslamp hotel? Please click on rates below for details. Rental includes one underground, secured parking spot. An additional parking spot may be obtained for an extra $20 per day.

condo rental amenities
The amenities in the condo are top quality:
In the living room you will find: a 46" LED TV with Streaming Netflix, Pandora, and a DVD player, high speed wireless internet, two giant comfortable modern couches to stretch out on (can seat 7), and speakers for your iPod.
In the kitchen you will find granite countertops, stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, a gas stove, and all the cookware, appliances, and dishes you need to make a gourmet meal. An industrial-sized stainless washer and dryer are next to the kitchen, and you will be provided with laundry soap.
Bed linens, a pillow, towel, and washcloth will be provided for each guest.
Both spacious bathrooms feature granite countertops, large mirrors, and powerful showerheads. The master bathroom has an oversized tub for comfortable soaking.
The unit also features two outdoor areas: an outside balcony, and a patio overlooking the tropical courtyard. The 200 square foot patio is arguably the best feature of the loft, with a gas grill, an outdoor dining table which comfortably seats 6, an outdoor couch and stools for 7 people, a beautiful fire table with a sun fire glass motif, and lots of flowering plants.
The condo complex has a large 7th floor rooftop deck with 2 additional grills, two large tables, a seating area, and a fireplace. In addition, the complex has a fitness center with treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bicycles, weight machines and free weights.
