Little Wicomico Cottage in Northern Neck

Spring break is here, and so is the wildlife,  Eagles, Ospreys, Bluebirds, Cardinals, Blue Harons are all busy in the cove. Little Wicomico Cottage is perfect for a mini-vacation,

Little Wicomico Cottage is located on the Little Wicomico River in the Northern Neck.  This nautically decorated home has spectacular views, with a private hot tub and peace and quiet.

This is a no smoking home.  Ash Trays are provided outside.

The Great Room
A comfortable Great room features a wood fireplace, ceiling fan, satellite TV, DVD/VCR Player along with a collection of videos with board and card games. The Great room also has a leather full-size futon should one of your party wish to sleep there.

The Kitchen
Fully equipped and bright, the Kitchen is open and useable with views of the cove while preparing meals.

The Dining Room
Adjacent to the Kitchen, Great room and Sunroom, the Dining room is a central gathering place with a table that expands to accommodate 8 people and a view of the Cove, Kitchen and Great room.

The Sun Room
Adjacent to the Dining Room, the Sunroom provides a location to decompress and watch the water and the wildlife.  Eagles, ospreys, otters, and songbirds have been seen from this room.

The Bedrooms and Baths

The Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed, a ceiling fan, dresser,a sitting area, a desk and views from every window.  Skylights allow you to see the stars from your bed. The Master bedroom has a private entrance that leads to the breezeway. 

The Downstairs bedroom has a full sized bed, with a ceiling fan and a sitting area.

The Downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.

The Loft bedroom has a king-sized bed, two (2) twin beds, a ceiling fan, dresser-desk and closet. This Loft bedroom is open to the Great room.

The Upstairs bathroom has beautiful ceramic tile, a jacuzzi tub, toilet and large sink.  The bathroon is shared between the Master and the Loft bedrooms.

The Outdoor Spaces

The property is beautifully landscaped and offers spectacular views from almost every room.  The breezeway is a great gathering place for bar-b-ques, crab boils and enjoying the breezes from the water.

The front lawn is wonderful for playing ball or crocket.

Relax in the hammock while reading a book, or watching the cove.

Enjoy sitting out on the deck at the picnic table under the umbrella.

The dock is a great place to fish or catch crabs and to tie up your boat or jet ski while staying with us.  The dock has stairs for water access.

You can also take a canoe ride in our canoe.

The house is 3.5 miles via the Little Wicomico River to the Chesapeake Bay and 6 miles from great fishing.  Danny Crabb Charter Fishing is walking distance from the Little Wicomico Cottage.

The Hot Tub is situated with great views of the cove and the sky. The Northern Neck is one of the few places left that you can still see the stars.

Little Wicomico Cottage is a great place to call home during your next visit to the Chesapeake Bay.

Weekly or monthly rates may be higher during Holidays. 

There is a $150.00 cleaning fee for stays less than 6 nights.

There is a $250.00 refundable security deposit.
