Situated in a very secluded setting, a relaxing atmosphere awaits you in this comfortable three bedroom beach front cottage.
This one-of-a-kind property is located in the private community of Indian Point, which provides you with access to several private sandy beaches and miles of nature trails along the marshes, tidal sand flats, miles of beautiful rocks with spectacular views as well as a boat launch on a sheltered bay. From the spacious front deck enjoy the waves, sailboats and working lobster boats. At night, you will be relaxed by the sound of the surf, the smell of the ocean air and looking at the moon reflecting on the water.

This one-story cottage has a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to a dining area and a large living room with a beautiful stone fireplace. There are many large windows throughout the cottage that will allow you to enjoy the unique views from almost every room. This comfortable sunny cottage has three bedrooms. One has a queen-size bed, another has twin beds and the third has bunk beds. There is also a loft ideal for children with two twin beds . . . this cottage will accommodate 6-8 people. The cottage has a washer and you can dry your clothes on the clothes line giving it a sweet smell in the open air. There is 3/4 bathroom with a shower. There is a charcoal grill as well as a lobster pot.

Most guests will stay at Indian Point for its feeling of a remote island retreat while others can take a ten minute drive to the beautiful beaches and sand dunes at Reid State Park or the beautiful quaint fishing village of Five Islands. On the wharf at Five Islands enjoy a delicious dinner of your favorite seafood while watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. On the Island of Georgetown you will find a marina, general store, two restaurants, two lobster shacks and a farm stand with fresh local vegetables and gourmet foods.
A twenty minute drive up Route 127 is the historic city of Bath with its rich maritime history and several old sea captain homes. While in Bath visit the Maine Maritime Museum as well as many stores, wonderful shops and more restaurants. A forty five minute drive from this cottage is the outlet shopping in Freeport, home of LL Bean's flagship store. Antiquing is available thirty minutes away in Wiscasset. For day trips, you will want to visit Boothbay Harbor and the Old Port District in Portland one hour away.
