Sport Fishing :

Sport fishing is big business here. There are a lot of places near the dock to hire a boat and though prices may be negotiable . . . we will give you one example so that you will have an idea of what the going rate is. Boats Juanito has 40' day boats (up to 8 people) available for $750 USD. Expect prices to vary according to the size of the boat, the amount of time you will be out on the water, what you are fishing for (where they need to go), and how many people you have in your fishing party.

Hussong Cantina:
Hussongs Cantina in the tourist zone. It is Baja's oldest bar still in use, established in 1892 by a German, Johan Hussong, Some say that Ensenada was built around this bar, it was first used as a stage coach stop and is now a historic landmark. Whether during the day or at night, you'll get a feeling of Old Mexico. Famous for it's original margaritas that were said to be invented.

Wineries

This area of Mexico has been called "the new Napa Valley" because of its untapped potential as a great wine region. The Mission Santo Tomas de Aquino was the first winery in Baja in 1791, it is located about thirty miles south of Ensenada. Most of the wineries themselves are about a 30-40 minute drive from Ensenada, in the Valle de Guadalupe.
