Vacation Rental Description

2008 up and down duplex rental at the quiet, south end of LBI.  
This home is 2 houses from the beach and about 6 houses from the bay.
 To get to the beach, you just walk past 1 house, then turn right or
left on the blvd, go a short block and the beach access ramp is right
there!
It is cheerful and bright and very comfortable.
There is ample parking space on both sides and in front of the
house--it is NOT up against the neighboring homes.
Rental period is from Sunday to Sunday, with optional 5 or 6-day
rentals for easy on/off the island.  Avoid the Saturday rush!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Each unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The master bedroom has a
queen bed and a bathroom.  The other 2 bedrooms share a hall bath. 
One of those bedrooms has a double bed, the other has twin beds.
The living room has a loveseat and a long sofa, both of which are
comfortable to sleep on (the loveseat may be better for a child).
Both units have a street-side deck with furnishings.
Each room has an air conditioner.
Cable TV, wireless internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave,
charcoal grill, 4 beach badges.

Activities and Attractions

It's an easy walk to the wildlife refuge area at the far end of the
island.  There is a deli at the far south end near the reserve.  
Bay Village (the main shopping area on the island) is a short 3-mile
drive or bike ride.  Fantasy Island amusement park and video game
arcade is right next to Bay Village, as is Thundering Surf water park.
There are many restaurants-plain and fancy- in the area.  Two bike and
home rental stores are a short trip down the boulevard.  There are no
bars or restaurants down this end of LBI so the renters tend to be
families.  It is quite rare to get an unruly neighbor.  We have been
there for 9 years and have never had a problem with that.
