Wake to the call of the loons and drink your coffee on the deck just
steps from the shores of Beech Hill Pond. Although it's name
says "Pond", Beech Hill is actually a beautiful, crystal clear 4 1/2
mile long, 1 mile wide spring-fed lake. Enjoy the private dock and
spend your days swimming, fishing, boating (canoe/kayak rentals can
be delivered right to the cabin), or simply reading in the
hammock. Gaze across the lake to the surrounding mountains for
breathtaking views. There is a large, flat, sand area at the water's
edge, great for relaxing in the sun or playing beach games. Picnic
tables and chairs provide plenty of lakeside seating. The fire pit
at the water's edge is perfect for end of the day enjoyment.
The cabin was completely renovated in 2003 and now boasts a huge,
custom-pine kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and all-new
appliances, including dishwasher and garbage disposal.
The living area has two pull-out couches, an easy chair and TV.
This large room also has a huge table, with seating for twelve!
There's ample room to eat, play board games, do puzzles, play
cards...all with great views of the lake. (Many board games,
puzzles, cards, videos are provided for your entertainment). Two
sliding glass doors provide access to the covered porch and
connecting open deck, both with lots of seating and panoramic views!
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and master bath with shower.
The two other bedrooms each have full-size beds, and each have a
separate, sliding-glass door onto a covered deck with spectacular
views of the lake.
