Fantastic gated community on the forgotten coast's most pristine  
beach. Nestled between the sparkling Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil  
waters of St. Joseph's Bay, Barrier Dunes enjoys a setting of  
uncommon natural beauty on St. Joseph's Peninsula. With its sugar  
white sands, gentle waves, and daily dolphin show Cape San Blas is  
an undiscovered gem. 
 
"Beach Time" is 30 steps from one of the Barrier Dunes two fantastic  
pools and 180 steps from the Gulf-front pool & Beach. Each bedroom  
has a full bath and its own private deck. This townhouse was built  
in 2002 and is fully equipped with everything we think you'll need  
for a great Beach Time vacation on the Cape! 
 
Ideal for families, "Beach Time" has a great green space directly  
behind the huge main deck where your kids can enjoy some freedom  
playing on the lawn or running down the boardwalk in this safe,  
quiet community. The unit also boasts two TVs, VCR, DVD player and  
includes a variety of tapes, books, games, toys, and puzzles to make  
your stay fun and relaxing. 
 
Your rental includes your linens, towels (everything but beach  
towels), electric grill, free high-speed internet, beach chairs,  
umbrella, table, and beach cart, starter supplies of paper goods,  
tin foil, saran wrap, ziplocs, laundry supplies and  
dishwasher/washing supplies.  We also include hospitality amenities  
like blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion and more!   
 
There are tons of great activities to enjoy on the Cape, for the  
fisherman in you, surf cast into the waves, fish in St. Joe Bay,  
rent a charter or take your little guys and drop a line into one of  
the three ponds on the property. The Cape is a great place to bike  
and the state park, which is literally two minutes from Barrier  
Dunes, is especially good with its great views and low traffic. 
 
If wildlife is your thing take one of the nature trails in the park  
and get an eyeful of the migrating monarch butterflies or put your  
water shoes on and stroll out into the Bay for a look at the many  
creatures who make their home there including stingrays, sand  
dollars, countless varieties of fish, and all types of crabs. 
 
If you have never experienced "old Florida" you are in for a treat.  
Apalachicola is an old Coastal town only a short drive away and has  
great shopping and restaurants. It is a refreshing change from your  
typical tourist town with it's charming storefronts and the oysters  
here are to die for!

rates.  Monthly "snowbird specials" available for  
January and February!  We run many specials and last-minute  
discounts as well.
