Perfect place to stay in Santa Monica

We stayed at the guest cottage during february 2013 with our 11 months old son. The owner was so helpful and helped us out and arranged a baby crib, great! Thanks E!

The guest cottage is clean, quiet and you have access to the cosy garden outside. Parking with a visitor permit on the street was perfect and easy. The area has great restaurants, cafes, a grocery store and so much more just a minute walking from the garden cottage. The area is very safe and nice and only 1 km to the beach was something that really added value.

We highly recommend staying at this garden cottage!

Very clean, lovely place in a great location

This is a quiet very clean guest cottage in a nice neighborhood off Montana. The owner, elizabeth, is a lovely woman. The back area where the cottage is located is a beautiful garden with an area to sit outside. The bed is very comfortable. The cooking arrangements were sufficient for me but not sufficient for a major preparation like a thanksgiving dinner. Bathroom small but clean. I loved how the french doors opened up to bring in the beautiful weather. I had trouble with the wifi but just activated my hotspot on my Verizon Smartphone for a dollar a day and it worked perfectly. The electrical seemed fine but there weren't an abundance of outlets so I had to time the charging of my laptop, iPad, and cell phone appropriately. If my spoiled husband had been there with all his gizmos, we would have been competing. I loved the ability to be outside with complete privacy. Parking with the onstreet permit was no problem but you have to pay attention to the street cleaning times or you will get a ticket. Ouch. There is a natural foods restaurant right out the back door for super breakfasts and smoothies. Shopping, and good restaurants nearby.
