activities and attractions in Hyampom Shasta Cascade
You are welcome to stroll around the ranch, explore the hills, the
creek and the river, watch the training of the young horses or visit
the turkeys and chicken. Our tom turkey "ET jr." and his girls are
not only the kids favorite!
Enjoy the large variety of birds and wildlife from the porch or by
hanging out by the river, on the pasture or in the hills.
Private swimming holes invite you to swim and play in the clear
river.
Innertubes are available.
Like on every ranch a horseshoe pit is on the property but Boccia is
available, too.
Hiking, kayaking, canoeing and fishing are some more of the
activities you can enjoy in the area. Bring your drift boat and enjoy
drift boat fishing away from the crowds. Miles of forest roads and
trails (a lot of them abondened and closed for vehicles) are waiting
to be explored by mountain bike or foot.
If you want to dine out, you can enjoy good food and meet friendly
locals from the Hyampom Valley in the Valley View Restaurant just 15
car minutes away. Give it a try!
The best thing to do out here, however, is to lean back, enjoy the
nature and unwind totally.
