Echota is a gated community convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. The house is a beautiful 4 bedroom/4 bath floor plan on 3 levels with a wrap around porch for relaxing. The wooded setting provides tranquility with the convenience of nearby lakes and amenities. The master bath has a separate shower and garden tub with a private entrance to the porch from the bedroom and a king bed. The upstairs bedroom has a sofa and a king size bed with a full bath. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed or 2 twin beds as needed with a full bath. A washer dryer is located downstairs. The front bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath off of the hallway. The kitchen has granite countertops, beautiful cherry cabinets, and a gas stove with an electric oven. All kitchen utensils are provided. There are wood floors on the first floor with a gas fireplace for cool evenings. Sheets and towels are provided.

Echota offers an indoor pool with a retractable ceiling and outdoor deck for sunning. A fitness center and hot tub are within walking distance from the house. The clubhouse offers a pool table and other game tables for kids. Several catch and release trout ponds are down the hill and hiking trails are not far away. Skiing, ziplining, gem mines, fishing expeditions, tubing and kayaking are all available within several miles of the community. Too many restaurants to name are in the area and grandfather mountain can be seen from the entrance.

Because Echota is located between Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock the attractions are endless. Shopping, dining, activities for kids, and hiking trails are close by. Tweetsie Railroad is a favorite attraction for many kids and it is 20 minutes from the house. With Appalachian State University and Lees McRae College there are always concerts and plays many times during the year. Westglow Spa offers the ultimate day package including massages, facials, and all of the pampering you can imagine in a beaultiful setting that offers long range views from the relaxation lounge. There are several golf courses in the area.

The rates are the highest in October and during the holidays and off season is Jan. -April even though there are many winter activities available.
