Our property is located in a gated community with private beach, boat launch, and clubhouse with large heated pool.   Walk to the beach and clubhouse within minutes.  Fish the river for snook and trout from our private seawall. Take long strolls along the beach, sunbathe, swim, surf or just relax on the deck of our large heated pool.  The clubhouse has billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard, quiet sitting areas, full showers, bathrooms, and a large grassy play area.  Sit under the shaded gazebo on the sand dune and take in the gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean. 

In the early summer months you can walk the beach at night to look for the giant sea turtles that come ashore to dig their nests and bury their eggs.  In the late summer months you may be lucky enough to witness baby turtles hatching and taking their first steps toward the sea.

When you arrive, you will find your vacation home clean and well maintained.  The home is fully equipped: queen size bed, two couches, lazyboy recliner, three televisions (cable TV included), DVD player, stereos, full size washer and dryer, linens, towels, and beach toys (chairs, umbrella, coolers, paddle ball, badminton, Frisbees).    Plenty of storage space in two six foot closets and lots of drawers and cabinets for your personal belongings.  The kitchen is fully stocked with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, range/oven, full size refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes, silverware and all the utensils you’ll need.  The backyard patio has a reclining chaise lounge with cushion, 4 chairs with cushions, a round glass top table with large umbrella, and a propane BBQ grill ready for your enjoyment. 

Within walking distance from our home you have a gas station, convenience store, restaurants and bars, ice cream parlor, sub sandwich shop, surf shop, post office, and other stores. 

Within 5 miles of the house you have a full grocery store and 2 fire/rescue departments.  Visit the popular Elliot Museum with antique cars, local history exhibits, and baseball memorabilia.  Across from the Elliot Museum you can pet sting rays at the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center.  The Center also has many interactive live fish/wildlife/plant exhibits with educational tours and a mangrove boardwalk where you can witness various large fish species and bird life. There are various parks along the island to enjoy.  Some are on the Indian River side of the island and others on the Atlantic Ocean side.  The island offers extensive opportunities for one to explore the many large, unpopulated and undeveloped beaches and mangrove river areas with a variety of wildlife to be seen. Local rentals of boats, sailboats, kayaks, bikes, surfboards, etc. are available.

Only 15 minutes inland from the house you have the Treasure Coast Mall, movie theatre, many well known restaurants, waterfront dining, specialty stores, tennis, golf, and hiking/mountain biking trails.

Day Trips: Disneyland, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Zoos, Gatorland, Kennedy Space Center, Waterparks, The Everglades, Casinos and Casino Cruises, all of the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach attractions...and too many more to list.

Longer term Rates are negotiable.

High Season: January - April  ( $500/week,  $1500/month )

Low Season: May - December  ( $350/week,  $1100/month )
