At 53 Agate Lane, a 1,300 sq. ft., 2-story house is nestled in a private wooded setting, centrally located to skiing, hiking and the resort center at the Mountain Inn in Wintergreen.

Walk through the front door and you will feel the openness created by the vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows. 

On the first floor, there is a kitchen, living/dining area, full bath and one bedroom with a queen-size bed.   On the second floor, there is a full bath and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. 

The kitchen/dining space is stocked with cooking essentials and casual seating for eight.

In the Winter, skiing and snow tubing are the main attractions at Wintergreen.  The Tyro trail is within walking distance - no need to drive to the chairlift.  Or, spend time with family and friends indoors - lounging around the fireplace, reading, watching TV, listening to music or playing games.   

In the spring, hiking trails are within walking distance and golf courses are a short driving distance to the top of Devil's Knob or to the bottom of the valley in Nellysford.

In the Summer, get relief from high temperatures where the mountains are usually ten degrees cooler than lower elevations in Virginia.  Lakes and pools are available for swimming and sunning.  Also, enjoy hiking and horseback riding.

In the Fall,  the trees turn brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange - a good time for a drive on the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway.
