Vacation Rental Description

This very spacious 6 bedroom home was completed in June 2006.  The 
home is in Sapphire Valley in a mountain setting with breathtaking 
views. While here you can enjoy the fireplace, soaring wood ceilings 
with skylights and many windows, 2 huge decks 27' by 16' covered 
with wood ceilings and skylights as well.  The well stocked full 
kitchen offers beautiful cherry cabinet kitchen, stainless steel 
appliances and granite countertops.  Eat at the large bar at the 
center island or at large wood dining table.  The home was created 
with two families in mind.  For your convenience there are two sets 
of washers/dryers (one on each floor!)  Tall 9 foot ceilings in the 
lower level with a wonderful extra play area. Completed with two 
large screen High Definition TVs with Satelite and three other TV's 
with VCR and DVD. Deer Run Road is a gated community off of Highway 
64.   

Vacation Rental Amenities

Renters will have full use of the Sapphire Valley Community 
amenitiies which includes: 1 indoor pool, 3 outside pools, miniature 
golf, game-room, exercise room, playground, track, tennis, lake, 
sauna, hot-tubs, hiking trails and much more.  All of these for a $5 
fee per adult over age 14 per week.  Additional options available 
for a separate fee include horseback riding, skiing and snow tubing 
in season, as well as boat, canoe and small motor boat rental.  A 
terrific public golf course is 1/4 mile down the street.  Four 
public courses within 6 miles, fees ranging from $69 to $99 per 
person.

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy many different activities from exploring Cashiers, 5 miles 
away, to Brevard and Highlands (20 miles each) to Asheville, the 
Biltmore house (60 miles).  Nature's paradise in the area includes 
many waterfalls, hiking trails, gorgeous mountain vistas and lakes.  
Excellent shopping and antiques, as well as charming gourmet 
restaurants to excellent bbq.  Only 12 miles from Highlands and the 
new Old Edwards Inn World Class Spa, Theatre, additional shopping 
and restaurants.

Vacation Rental Rates

In-season rates May - Oct: $2500/week
Rentals from Saturday to Saturday during in-season

Off-season rates Nov - April $2000/week 

Premium weeks: Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New 
Years  $3000/week

PLEASE NOTE:  There is 10% North Carolina tax on all fees 
collected.  (This doesn't apply to the security deposit.)

No SMOKING (any season!) 
Cleaning fee $150, Security Deposit $500, immediately refunded after 
review of check out.
