The Farmhouse in Seneca Lake

This charming farmhouse sits on the hillside overlooking the Village of Watkins Glen at the South end of Seneca Lake and sleeps 8 comfortably.  It's just 1 mile from Watkins Glen and ~ 30 miles from the cities of Ithaca, Elmira, Bath, Corning and the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport. 

Visiting the Finger Lakes Wine Trail is a must for those enjoying wine, as well as the Watkins Glen State Park for hikers and the Watkins Glen International Raceway for sports enthusiasts (7 miles away).

A 20-minute ride will take you to Hammondsport, named one of the "Coolest Small Towns in America" in 2012 by Budget Travel!

There are plenty of dining locations in the area, ranging from casual to elegant.  Many of the restaurants offer local, farm-fresh foods.  “You-pick” fruit orchards and honor-system fruit and vegetable stands are available frequently during the Summer and Fall throughout the area.

The country-style home features 3 bedrooms (a queen-size bed in the first floor bedroom, a double bed in the first upstairs bedroom and 2 double beds in the second upstairs bedroom), full bath, living room, and kitchen.  The kitchen includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster as well as an assortment of dishes, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils.  A TV (local channels only), radio and CD player are available as well as window unit air conditioning.  A small side porch and deck overlook the large lawn with a charcoal grill, just waiting to be used!

Weekend rental (Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday) - $400 (1-4 guests); $100 for each additional guest

Week day rental  - $100/room for queen or double; $150/room with 2 double beds

Check-in at 3:00 PM with check-out at 11:00 AM.  Bedding and linens provided upon request at no charge. There is no cleaning fee; however, we do ask that you leave the premises in the same condition as when you arrived.
