The Henry Homberg home was built in 1879 and survived the Great Storm of 1900. The home has been completely renovated and has been featured on both the 2001 and 2006 Galveston Historical Foundation's Historic Homes' Tour.
The home is also conveniently located about 4 blocks from the beach and Galvez Hotel/Spa.
The home features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It is available for weekly short term and corporate rentals.

*Pets are not allowed on weekly rentals. We will consider dogs on monthly rentals, on a case by case basis
*We require a credit card for payment/deposits. We accept MasterCard/Visa/Discover. We require a $500 reservation deposit at time of reservation. The balance of your stay will be charged to your credit card 30 days in advance of your check-in date. All amounts are non-refundable once charged to your credit card. Please note that for peak holiday stays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4, Lone Star, etc. we will charge the balance of your stay 60 days prior to check-in.
*All stays require a $500 security deposit which will be refunded after check out, assuming no damage.
*The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots & pans, cooking utensils, etc., and we supply towels, sheets and everything else necessary to make sure that you have a great time.
*Rates includes basic cleaning service when you leave. If you are really messy, there will be an additional charge. Monthly rentals have weekly cleaning service.
*Most neighborhoods in the Historic Areas of Galveston are "neighborhoods in transition". Many older/poorer homeowners are transitioning out to new homeowners who are renovating and restoring their homes. A few homes on our block have not been renovated and therefore can appear dilapidated/derelict, however the block is full of lovely neighbors who keep an eye on my home when no one is there. They are mostly long-term residents who are inviting and friendly.
