Lovely, bright cottage steps from private beach near Cooks Brook
beach. Rooftop deck with stunning views of Cape Cod Bay and
Wellfleet bluff; incredible sunsets. House is in private Silver
Springs Association on sandy road with white shell driveway.
Completely renovated, sleeps 4-5. Two full bedrooms and one extra
room in addition to open living room, kitchen, dining. Cottage is
year-round.

Amenities include fully applianced and equipped gourmet kitchen,
washer/dryer, cable tv, DVD, CD/Radio, beach chairs, enclosed
outdoor
hot/cold shower. Weber grill in private back yard. Roof deck with
teak seating for sunset toasts or to enjoy a panoramic view of the
bay. Bedrooms include pillows and blankets.

House has direct access via sand path to public beach for easy small
boat launch. Our private bayside beach is perfect for children.
Sandbars stretch out of site at low tide inviting games of Beach
Bocci, football, baseball and volleyball. Swim and boat at hightide
or relax on the beach. The Town of Eastham is a perfect Cape Cod
town, bordering Wellfleet and Orleans. This is what a Cape vacation
is meant to be, with access to both the bay and ocean, historic
lighthouses, galleries, shops, restaurants, bike and hiking trails.
There are a number of local bike and boat rental shops. Close by
are
recreational activities like mini-golf and 9- and 18-hole golf
courses. The Wellfleet Drive-In and Cinemas also host the
incredible Wellfleet Flea Market and art shows.

perfect beach house

Absolutely perfect beach house. House is very nice, well done, great kitchen, awesome roof deck overlooking the bay. Private beach was great for our 2 kids and dog. Felt extremely safe in the little beach neighborhood. Will definitely be going back next summer. Ideal cape experience.

Perfect Cape Cod getaway

This house was perfect in every way for our summer vacation with our 1year old daughter. Located in a private community on a sandy road near the beach, the neighborhood was extremely quite and private. The house is very close to the beach and has private access to the beach as well as equally close access to the Cooks Brook public beach area. We found the bay side to be ideal for our daughter as she could play in the calm water, especially at low tide.

The house itself was perfect for our small family. The three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 twin/trundle, 2 twins) worked great and allowed for visitors comfortably. Whether it would sleep six adults comfortably (considering the trundle bed) is up for debate, but it was great for our needs.

What you can't tell from the photos provided is that the kitchen is very nicely appointed with stainless and granite counters. It is spacious with a large island and kitchen table, and the owners have all necessary kitchen items (blender, coffee maker, lobster pot, utensils etc) on hand. Not photographed is the bathroom which has a full tub, and grainte countertops. Nice and clean. The rooftop deck is a nice perk which offers amazing views of the sunset (despite a few obstructions such as houses and phone lines), and we found it to be a great place for a morning coffee and evening cocktails. Another nice amenity not listed or photographed is the outdoor shower, which is perfect to clean off the beach sand.

One big draw to this house for us was that it is a pet friendly property, so we could bring our Jack Russell Terrier. Despite being a pet friendly home, we found virtually no evidence that pets stay in this house. It was very clean, and pet odor/damage free. The yard isn't huge, but worked just fine for the dog, and the beach is posted as dog friendly from 9AM to 6PM, but it seemed the norm that dogs were generally accepted any time. Our dog loved splashing in the low tide puddles.

Overall, we had an amazing stay and were sad to leave.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing
