Monday - Thur $250/night
Weekends $325/night (2-night minimum)

When you reserve more than 60 days in advance, 50% of the total
rental fee is required as a non-refundable deposit at the time of
reservation and will be credited toward the total balance of fees
due. The balance of the rental fee plus a security deposit plus the
cleaning fee are due not less than 60 days prior to the check in
date.

The security deposit required is 50% of the total rental fee and
will be refunded within two weeks after check out unless damages or
other costs need to be deducted.

House in the Woods, NOT Near the Beach

This was a wonderful house. It accommodated 4 adults and 2 children quite nicely. The yard surrounding the house was fantastic for the kids to run around in. HOWEVER, this house was NOWHERE near the beach. It was a house in the woods. I'm not sure how the owners considered a 25 minute walk to the beach as a few minutes. The beach was accessible only on foot.

To give you an idea, we walked down the road for about 10 minutes before we bumped into neighbors who were going to get their golf cart to head back to the entrance to the walkway to the beach. Once at the walkway (this is where you had to go on foot), we walked down the wooden steps further and further into the woods. It started to get dark, but I realized it was only that we had gone so far down into the woods. Then, once we were all the way down, we had to walk all the way back up. And then you're at the beach....25 min later. So that was the one and only time we ventured to the "beach within walking distance." There was a nice beach 5 minutes away by car and of course, Warren Dunes Beach which was about 10-15 minutes by car.

This was not a walk that anyone could have done who was: out of shape, older, with little kids or with too much accoutrement.

So, with that said. This house would be lovely to stay at in the Fall or Spring when the leaves are changing and you have no desire to spend time at the beach. There was plenty of room within the house with its wonderful deck to enjoy breakfast on or screened in porch for a late afternoon read.

Fantastic Stay!

We enjoyed this cottage very much and will definitely be returning in the fall. The cottage has many fantastic amenities and is very clean. We recommend this rental to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beach.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
