Beautiful Cottage on direct oceanfront property located in quaint Scituate Harbor. Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from every room. Just steps from historic Scituate Lighthouse-the 11th oldest lighthouse in America, celebrating it's 200th anniversary this year. The cottage was built in 1923 and in the same family until 2010 when it was completely remodeled. While all the amenities are modern, a cottage feel is maintained. An open floor plan provides ample space for lounging and enjoying the breathtaking ocean vistas. Matchstick paneling over yellow pine floors grace the second floor. All bedrooms share a common ceiling, typical of cottage architecture from the 1920s. On the main floor, large sliding glass doors overlook the double decks facing the Atlantic-a perfect spot to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a New England sunrise. Full bath upstairs with over sized shower, and half bath off the newly remodeled kitchen. All new appliance with complete kitchen utensils

Scituate is a quiet coastal communmity located on the South Shore. A 5-minute drive to the train station will connect you to one of the great cities of the world. Several trains travel between Boston and Scituate daily. You can also also take a relaxing ferry ride from Hingham (just 20-minutes away) that will take you non-stop to Logan International Airport or the Harbor Islands. Cape Cod is 40-miles to the south, but you'll likely never want to leave your deck as the ocean is breathtaking from your back porch.
