Websterwood in Traverse City

Websterwood is a beautiful custom-built cedar-sided lakefront home.  Two stories tall with a gorgeous cathedral ceiling in the living room, the house is spacious and airy with lots of light and breathtaking views of Long Lake.  Two complete bedrooms and one loft bedroom for kids or adventurous adults, plus a spacious double futon in the living room sleep a total of 6 people, making this the perfect home for your family's vacation.  The remodeled kitchen and dining room present a gorgeous focal point to your meals and family time.  Websterwood is only 10 minutes from the busy town of Traverse City, which makes its relaxing lakefront atmosphere the perfect counterpoint to any TC vacation.  Listen to the loon's cry echo on the lake in the evening or early morning, see the vivid colors painting the sky at sunset, and feel the gentle breeze and warm sun on your skin as you relax on the private dock or swim in the lake for a perfect summer getaway.

Websterwood has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, stove, oven, washer & dryer, dishwasher, 32" flat screen television & DVD player, cable TV, and outdoor grill. 

Two queen sized beds, a full sized bed, and a twin sized bed could sleep 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children easily.  A queen sized air mattress may be available upon request - please inquire at time of booking if this will be necessary.

The kitchen, bathroom, and dining room have just been completely remodeled and the appliances are new.  The beautiful interior of this home will take your breath away!

Websterwood boasts 88 feet of private lakefront access with a dock.  The water near the dock is shallow enough for your kids to play safely, and there is some sand for sandcastles and other structures right at the lakefront access.  Comfortable adirondack chairs on the dock make it perfect for adults to relax while viewing the lake or catching some sun.  Only 500 feet from the house is the trailhead for the nature trails in the South Long Lake Preserve, home to many species of Michigan flora and fauna.  Websterwood is only 10 minutes from Traverse City proper, a town rated #1 in America as a "Foodie" town, and on many "Top Ten" lists of best small town vacations spots, including by National Geographic.  With scuba diving, hot air balloons, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, swimming, ship rides, shopping, dozens of other watersports and activities, it's hard to find time to fit everything in your vacation!  Take a wine tour of the Old Mission or Leelanau peninsulas, climb the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and swim in Lake Michigan, come for the Traverse City Film Festival or Traverse City Cherry Festival, and then return to a quiet, peaceful, lakefront home.

Price per week is $1700.  Stay for two weeks or more and pay only $1600 per week.

A holding deposit of $500 is required to keep your reservation.  This will be deducted from the cost of your stay.  If you cannot keep your reservation, we will try to find other renters.  If we can rent it out, your full deposit will be refunded.  If we are unable to find other renters, your deposit will be forfeit.

We prefer to book Saturday-to-Saturday, but are willing to consider other rentals depending on availability.

We are able to take cash, check, or credit card payments.  Credit card payments will be assessed a small convenience fee.
