Caher House is a tranquil oasis of over 300 acres of mature natural woodlands, heather clad mountains, beautiful gardens and stunning lake views in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of rural Ireland.
The Estate is located in east Clare, only 35 minutes from either Limerick or Galway city. This Estate has luxurious accommodation available for small or large families, medium sized parties, corporate events or special occasions.
The Estate is completely private, heavily wooded with mature trees and shrubbery, and it enjoys breathtaking views of Lough Graney with its extensive shoreline, islands, piers, boathouses, abundant fish and wildlife.
The Estate which has many varied and interesting aspects and gives one a rare opportunity to relax and enjoy nature and the outdoors at your fingertips, either on water or on land.

The pink rhododendrons in May are spectacular as are the wild yellow daffodils in March, but it is in the summer or early autumn that you are most likely to see the wonderful wildlife. One might spot the diminutive but beautiful kingfisher fishing by one of our crystal clear streams, a jay in the large oak canopy collecting acorns, the elusive pine martin or red squirrel jumping from high branch to high branch, or one could simply surprise an early morning fallow buck, fox or hare in one of the wild flower meadows. One will certainly see our family of swans working their way down the Lough, but whatever happens, there is always something to do or see in Caher House.
