The Saltbox is an Historic Residence by the Sea in Cayucos

The Saltbox, an historic residence that is decorated like a B&B,
which offers guests the privacy and comforts of home.

Built by a ships captain in the 1880's, the traditional New England-
style residence was enlarged over the years and now includes three
separate living spaces (all with private entrances) which can be
reserved indiviually, or used together for family/friends reunion,
small groups or tours.

The rooms are colorfully decorated, with cushiony seating, cozy
quilts, feather pillows and charming antiques. From the decks and
patio, guests can see the ocean, stroll to cafes, restaurants, ice
cream palors, antigue shops, bakery, fish off or walk the 450 foot
pier -- and to the level beach just 100 yards away.

Cayucos a gentle walk-around village located off Highway 1, halfway
between Los Angeles and San Francisco (just 15 minutes south of
Cambria and five minutes north of Morro Bay).

The slower pace and temperate climate make Cayucos an ideal year-
round vacation destination. Wineries, golf courses, surfing, hiking,
biking, kyacking, Hearst Castle and the Big Sur are nearby.
