The Home Theater features a state of the art 65 inch smart flat screen LED HDTV, 3D Blue Ray & Mp3 Player, Wii gaming system, and a Stereo System that broadcasts sound out by the hot tub and dining deck outdoors.

Wifi is complimentary all over the home and outdoor spaces immediately around the home.  Catching up on some work? There is a charming office with copier/printer/scanner.

BLUE SKY RANCH is one of the only centrally located "LUXURY", "RANCH" vacation properties in the mountains within convenient distance to everything one would do on a fabulous Colorado vacation, but completely private, isolated and exclusive!  However, you are NOT isolated as far as the sheer number of activities you have available to you when traveling off property.  The SKI resort towns of Aspen, Vail, Copper, etc have nothing on Blue Sky Ranch in the rural area of Black Hawk as they are not within convenient distance to the airport, Boulder, Denver, Golden and the diverse range of activities and landscapes of the great state of Colorado.  We are closer to many more activities than ski resort towns can offer including gambling in "mini Vegas" Black Hawk,  White Water Rafting in nearby Clear Creek, expert Rock Climbing in Eldorado Canyon, Ballooning, Gliders or shopping famous Pearl Street in Boulder, Railroad Steam trips in George town, Gold Mine tours in Black Hawk, world class fly fishing just down the road from the ranch,  and finally in winter, skiing at the charming Eldora Ski Resort just outside Nederland 15 minutes away.  As you can see, you are centrally located even though when on the ranch, you'll feel like you have your own "destination vacation" as there is so much to do ON PROPERTY!   The Mountain View you have here is one of the best in the State.  You can see snow capped mountains (snow capped roughly October through July depending on precipitation) from Jaymes Peak all the way to Longs Peak- almost the entire Continental Divide in the State of Colorado!  Blue Sky Ranch is a Timber ranch with a diverse landscape including meadows, seasonal stream, thick conifer and aspen forests as well as Rock Outcroppings to climb and witness mother nature in all her glory.  There are rock cliff walls on the south side of the property as well as flat meadows and rolling hills and valleys scattered throughout the property which makes the position of our gun/archery range a safe place for target practice.  The hiking/mountain biking/snow shoeing/cross country skiing on property is just incredible.  Our hiking trails are pretty well manicured and marked for your convenience.

The Master has a King Sized Tempurpedic which sleeps 2 more.  There is also a sleeping loft bunk room that has 3 twins, sleeping 3 more and finally one sole twin in an alcove adjacent to the home theater, sleeping one more.  Total 12.

 Other terms:

-Lodging Rates are not inclusive of some of our additional “on property” activities (like the ATVs & skeet shooting pigeons)  If you bring your own, there is no charge.

-Wish to host an event on the ranch?  (wedding, reunion, team building, etc), there are no event fees. However, accommodation rates will amount to the maximum of $1000 per night for a minimum of 4 nights for up to 8 overnight guests.  Out clean fee will be determined according to how many "day" guests you intend to have on property, so please let us know that number at the time of your inquiry.
