Toccoa Cabin Rental in Suches

Our riverside cabin located just 90 minutes from Atlanta was built in November 2002 and is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. Nestled in the Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains you have all the privacy one can ask for. We are located at the end of the road where the only passerby's you'll have are the deer and other local wildlife. During the day, you can walk down to the river, cast your line and catch dinner! Or take a ride into Blue Ridge and ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or go horseback riding at Blanche Manor. Not far away is the historic town of Dahlonega once home to the Cherokee Indians, it is the site of America's first major Gold Rush ignited by the 1828 discovery of the purest gold in the world. There's plenty to do while you're here. Hike or mountain bike in the Chattahoochee and Cohutta National Forests. Tube the Toccoa River or raft the wild Ocoee. In the evenings, sit in front of a warm fire or relax in a rocker outside on the screened in porch where you can watch the local wildlife!

This 2 bedroom cabin has all the amenities of home!  the interior is tongue and groove pine throughout.  Central air and heat with a wood burning stove.  Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove; microwave and dishwasher.  There is also a washer and dryer in the laundry. Both bedrooms are fully furnished with a queen size bed and each has a large walk in closet and it's own full bathroom with tub and shower.  The living room has TV with DishTV Satellite, a VCR and DVD Player and CD Stereo System.  Watch some of our Videos or DVD's or bring your own!  Cabin also has DSL Internet with printer and keyboard for your use - just bring your laptop.  We also have a large selection of books if you decide you just want to sit out on the 600 square foot screened in porch, kick back and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife! The Kitchen is well equipped, down to the spices. You do have to bring your own Linens (sheets, pillowcases and towels)and leave the cabin clean.  This is a NON-SMOKING cabin - you can smoke on the screened in back porch, but not inside.

All  reservations must be made (at minimum) two weeks prior to expected occupancy.  Due to the paperwork involved, payment and release of liability received we cannot rent with short notice. 

There is a 3 night mininum rental on this cabin. 

THINGS YOU WOULD NEED TO BRING WITH YOU

1. Queen size bed sheets and pillow cases (we provide quilts and comforters) 
2. Towels and face cloths.
3. Charcoal for the grill and lighter fluid.
4. Personal toiletries (i.e. bath soap, toothpaste, etc)
5. Food - if you plan on cooking (there are a lot of spices in the kitchen)
6. Beer/ Wine, etc - Fannin county is a dry county so the local stores do not carry these items. 
7. Camera/Binoculars - Always good to have for when you spot the local wildlife 
8. Toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, laundry detergent, plastic wrap, aluminum foil (they should be there but just in case previous renters didn’t replace them)
