The Thompson Family Home in the Florida Keys provides a private setting for a small, intimate, exclusive retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located in Marathon, FL, it is perfect for family reunions, unforgettable weddings, getting together with a group of friends and so much more! Within moments of your arrival, you will explore everything Bella Mar has to offer. The beautifully furnished interior offers comfortable seating everywhere, a well-equipped kitchen with a second refrigerator nearby and luxurious sleeping accommodations. Venture outside, and the experience of a lifetime begins. As you stroll toward the pool, you'll notice the large outdoor kitchen and barbecue. At the far end of the pool is an intimate grotto hidden by the cascading waterfall. At the near end is the hot tub where you can relax and visit with friends sitting in the adjoining tiki bar. This perfect rental in the keys has is it! Bella Mar has it's own sandy beach (larger than many small hotels and protected by a stone break water), it beautiful pool with waterfall and hot tub, a kids dolphin pool/fountain, a Tiki Hut with bar, sink, refrigerator, grill and flat screen stereo oh and a stereo with I-pod hookup. If you are into fishing you are 4 mins from the Vacca Cut (passage to the Atlantic) as well as the gulf side. The boat house has ample room for personal water crafts and boats probably up to 35' depending on draft. It has the best of all worlds with great location to explore by car or boat.
The house is a "Florida" style home built in a tradition long past but it is so warm and comfortable without the sterile feeling of a brand new home which so many don't really fit the keys. While the house is older it has central AC, each King bedroom is nicely decorated in the period with it's own bathroom and shower and each has it's own TV entertainment center with cable and DVD! The kitchen is open and has great views with every cooking accessory you could wish for, oh but we never found a beer opener so we switched to cans which was better for the pool area anyhow. The house and grounds are sooo spacious, room for everyone to find a place to sit and read or snooze int he hammock!
The house also has a pool table for evening enjoyment after a hard day at the pool or fishing. It is amazing but my kids kept saying (ages 15-21) it's like being at a resort without any other guest, total privacy!

$5500.00 weekly rental plus all local taxes. $300 cleaning charge. Saturday changeover.
