Nestled in a private wooded setting, the newly remodeled “1078 Hideaway” is the perfect size for a family vacation, a "Girls Weekend”, or a romantic retreat with all the comforts of home. You'll love our lush wooded setting and will enjoy peaceful mornings on the front porch, sipping coffee and watching the finches and hummingbirds. Kids will enjoy playing in the expansive yard which offers a tree house and swing set. The Hideaway is conveniently located 1 mile from Brown Country State Park and Downtown Nashville, where you'll enjoy shops, art galleries, and local restaurants, so come and explore Brown County!!!

The “Hideaway” accomodates up to 8 guests. The kitchen is nicely equipped with all the cookware, dishes, and countertop appliances you’ll need. And an outdoor gas grill is just a few steps away if a cookout is in your plans. The living room offers 2 comfortable leather couches and a large 48" HD TV with Blu-ray DVD player, Dish Network, and free Netflix access (plus lots of DVD movies on site). There is second TV with DVD player in the twin bedroom. There are 3 bdrms on the main level that sleep up to 6 people (1 queen Tempur-Pedic , 1 queen pillow top, and 2 comfy twin beds). Each bedroom is supplied with ample pillows, towels and linens. The main level has a full bath and there is a second full bath on the lower level. If you want more room or have more than 6 people in your group, there is a 16x24 ft bonus room on the lower level of the house that offers a queen pillowtop bed, floor to ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, a desk and sitting area with Dish TV, Blu-ray DVD, free Netflix and Wii game system, plus access to the outdoor patio. The bonus room be included in the rental for an additional $50 per night ($250/week).

The Hideaway is kid friendly with a big yard, swingset, and clubhouse. Both adults and children will enjoy the outdoor games (in the front hall closet), including bocce balls, horseshoes, wiffle bat/ball, and more. And many guests commented on the hours of fun they've had around the backyard fire pit. Bring the whole family and enjoy Brown County!!

Only a mile to the west is downtown Nashville where you can spend the day shopping, browsing art galleries, and tasting the local cuisine. Down the road a mile to the east is Brown County State Park with its hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, swimming pools, and horseback riding. The Salt Creek Golf Course is a five minute drive from the house and Columbus (and the Edinburgh Premium Outlets!!!) is a quick 25 drive to the east. Lake Monroe and Bloomington (IU) are a short 30 minute drive to the west!!. There's lots closeby to enjoy!!!
