Do not rent this house. We rented it for a month and were very sorry we did. It was absolutely filthy. It has not been cleaned well for years. In fact, we even found a note commenting on the same filth, that was written in 2004. Wouldn't you think it would have been thrown away if a maid had found it? It was found right under phone books on a kitchen counter. The pots and pans downstairs were unuseable. Very old,dirty and in bad shape. Most windows did not have screens and if they did they were torn. The vacuum cleaner bags had not been emptied in a long time. Neither would have held one more hair. Furniture was dirty and smelled like a wet dog. Windows could barely be
seen through because of the dirt. We ductaped the screen on a door so we could have it
open. Smell was very strong of an unknown origin. Leaving doors and windows open
and candles burning barely helped. When we complained of the dirt we were told that
basically it should be expected as we didn't pay that much for rent. Really! No matter
what price is paid you still should expect a clean house. We actually rented from this
same company a year ago. We got a dirty house then also;though not nearly as bad as
this year. We have learned our lesson. Never again will we rent from this company.
