vacation rental description
Enjoy the ever changing views of the ocean currents and 20 foot
tides, only 230 feet from the house. From the dining room table you
will see seals at play in the current and the local fishing boats
coming in with the day's catch. This home has been completely
refurbished and is decorated with charming period furniture. The
house brings back memories of Lubec's waterfront history, as do
Lubec's main streets lined with Victorian homes. Shops, restaurants,
library, and boat landing are a short stroll from the front door.
Lubec's public beach with three miles of beachcombing -- is also just a
short walk from the cottage. After a day exploring the area, what could
be better than curling up with a good book by the cozy living room
stove while the foghorns sound in the channel? If you are unfamiliar with the art of cooking lobster and steamers, the owners will order, deliver, and cook your lobsters, steamers, and mussels for you right at the cottage. And they'll show you how to shell and eat them 'Way Down East' style. Fun & relaxing after a busy day! The home has two bedrooms with two twin beds in one bedroom and a full-size bed in the second bedroom. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer, full
and 1/2 baths, full kitchen, and TV/VCR with cable, broadband Internet with WiFi and free long distance phone service. ** Pet accommodations limited to one small to mid size, crate trained dog. Prior approval needed for pet. Turn over day is Sunday.
