Red Ledges Roost in Kanab

Nice comfortable home, surrounded by spectacular red cliff views, on Coral Cliffs Golf Course. Home has 3 bedrooms, with comfortable queen sized beds, 1 queen hide-a-bed and 1 futon.  Home will sleep 9 to 10 people comfortably. Red Ledges Roost is central to the four National Parks of Grand Canyon (90 mi), Zion(28 mi), Bryce (76 mi) and Lake Powell( 64 mi). Nearby is Grand Escalante Staircase (20 mi) and Pipe Springs a old pioneer fort. (17 mi). Coral Pink Sand Dunes is only 15 mi and is great for ATV's and hiking. We located just off of 89 an can easily walk to the downtown area where there is restaurants. grocery stores, gas stations, laundromats, and theaters. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is about a 10 minute drive. You can take free tours. Las Vegas is a 3 1/2 drive. Our home is surrounded by the Red Cliffs and has beautiful views. We love to relax watching the shadows change on the surrounding hills early in the morning and evening. To the south you can see the Kaibab Mountain in Arizona. Our back gate leads to the Coral Cliff Golf Course. Having lived in this area, we wish to share the magnificent beauty of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Enjoy the area: Kanab is a wonderful area for exploring Southern Utah. In 60 to 90 minutes you can see and experience some of the most beautiful places on earth. The Toroweap area is remote and takes about 90 minutes to drive on a dirt road but the view is well worth it. The National Parks and National Monuments are truly wonderful and so close. Kanab has beautiful hiking trails and a great park for picnics and just having some down time, the park has a water fountain especially for children in the summer. There is a large Public pool at the park where there is a Lazy River, things for both children and adults to enjoy. We love to take our family there. If you like to ATV there is many scenic roads to take to really experience this area. Also Coral Pink Sand Dunes is great for ATV riding and just enjoying the surrounding dunes. At Best Friends Animal Sanctuary there are free tours available. Best Friends in one of the largest animal sanctuaries in the United States.

Live Theaters: Tuacahan a Live Outdoor Amphitheater. They have wonderful outdoor Broadway productions. Address is:110 Tuacahan Drive, Ivins, Ut. In Cedar City, Utah there is a Utah Shakespeare Festival. 

Lake Powell : Lake Powell is a large beautiful lake with colorful sand formations. lt is about a 80 minute drive from our home. Lake Powell has boat rentals, water skiing, swimming, fishing and all other types of water sports. You can rent a boat or get a tour of this beautiful Lake. There is also free tours of Glen Canyon Dam available.
