Great Location, Great View, Great House! in Hollywood Hills

Located right near the Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills, this 5,500 sq. ft. home on a promontory has unobstructed, panoramic views of all of LA - from Downtown to the Ocean. This feature is somewhat rare in LA, since some homes have an Easterly view, others a Westerly view, but a full 180-degree view is uncommon. Right near Sunset Blvd., Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and most of the LA 'hot spots.' 5 Bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, media room, laundry room, outdoor pool, patio, and deck. One of the great areas of the Hollywood Hills is a neighborhood called the 'Bird Streets,' which has street names such as Oriole Drive, Warbler Way, Thrasher Ave., Robin Dr. and Sparrow Dr.. There is also Blue Jay Way, which is where George Harrison was renting a house when he wrote the Beatles song of the same name. One of the reasons for the bird names is that many of the properties have a bird's-eye view of Los Angeles, since they are situated so perfectly in the hills. Although the name of my street is not that of a bird, my street is nevertheless 'nestled' in the Bird Streets and is next to streets with names such as Flicker and Bluebird, so my street is still considered part of the Bird Streets. My property has a rare feature in that  I do have one of the best bird's-eye views of Los Angeles.  You can see virtually unobstructed all the way from Downtown on the East, to Santa Monica and the Ocean to the West.

The property has five bedrooms – one large master with a King bed on the top floor with more than 1,000 sq. ft. and sweeping views. Two of the mid-size bedrooms also have full panoramic views, one of which leads directly onto the outdoor deck and patio. Each of the five bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom and shower, and have closet or bureau space.

The den or media room on the lower level can be converted into a sleeping area, thereby creating a sixth bedroom.

The property is situated on a 24,000 sq. ft. lot, but since it is on a hill, not all of this space is usable. However, there is a large outdoor deck, patio and seating area which is a wonderful place to take in the city views. Take several steps down the walkway to enjoy the pool and hotub.

One fun fact is that Jerry Seinfeld used to live right in the neighborhood, just up the hill above my property. He lived there while he was filming the show in the '90s. :)

The home is situated in the Western part of the Hollywood Hills, just east of Beverly Hills.  In fact, Beverly Hills is just the next hill over. It is in a very desirable neighborhood since it is in the hills, with a great view and in a quiet area. But with a 5-minute drive (or a 20-minute walk) you can be at the west end of the Sunset Strip.
