Lazy Days Island Beach House in Fort Myers Beach

Welcome to 5570 Palmetto, a smoke free, but pet friendly, 3 bedroom, vacation home away from home.  This home is located mid island, in a quiet residential area.  Tropical vegetation lines the walkway around to the large backyard with your own private heated pool and spa. It is located one street over from Estero Boulevard. That means you’re only a 2 minute walk away from the 7 miles of beautiful white sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico.

After a walk up the steps, you enter into a short hallway that includes two bedrooms. The third is located off the living room. You are then led to a large open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and all other conveniences needed for an enjoyable stay.  The living room has a comfortable seating arrangement with a sleeper sofa and loveseat.  If you or one of the children needs a private getaway, there is a nook off the living room where you can relax on the futon and watch the show of your choice.  Also included is a DVD player, high speed internet and boom boxes for your use.

Combined oversized glass panels, and a slider in the dining area, lead out to a new wrap around deck that offers a great view of the backyard. The new deck is perfect for tanning and when you need to cool off, walk down the steps and take a dip in the heated pool and overflow hot tub.   The backyard is a large tropical oasis, great for sunning and relaxing poolside.  Soak away life’s stresses in your private hot tub. 

This elevated home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, a great feature if you are traveling with children. It can sleep 10 people. One bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite bath, the second has two twin beds, a TV to keep the kids occupied and an ensuite bath.  The third has a queen bed and ensuite bath.

If you feel a need to do laundry, there is a washer/dryer, a sink and cabinets to keep you organized.  A good sized deck off the laundry provides a quiet waiting area.

Publix grocery store is ½ mile north and just behind it is the new 5 star Bayfront Bistro. Santini Mall is a mile south offering unique shops and restaurants.  There’s really no need to leave the island!

The trolley makes stops to the north and south for 50 cents per person. You can head south to Lover’s Key State Park for some must see bird watching or go north to Times Square for more shopping, eating and nightlife.  Fort Myers Beach has it all.  Make your reservations now, don’t waste another minute!

Peak Season –- $1500-$2200 weekly,   $5500-$6650 monthly

To the above rates, please add  a $40 nonrefundable booking fee, and a $75 nonrefundable damage waiver fee, a $160 cleaning fee and an 11% tax.  Rates include all utilities.  Arrival and departure days of the week flexible to fit your vacation schedule.
