Lovely San Cristobal Casa in San Cristobal

You'll find 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large brick fireplace in the living room .. Mexican brick floors thru out the ground floor, outside corridor/patio with views of the mountains and garden. The kitchen/dining area has an open air feel with large windows that view the garden and patio. The house has all needed furnishings, appliances, lots of closet space in each room, bed linens, towels, kitchenware...Just about everything you could need during your stay is there. Of the 2 bedrooms, one is smaller, we refer to it as the Garden Bedroom, this seems to be a favorite, very cozy and warm with a double (matrimonial) size bed, large closet and chest of drawers.. It's the room with the big semi-circle doors which leads out to the garden ...The other bedroom is larger with another matrimonial size bed, lots of closet space, and a skylight adding more light into the room.... .The couch in the living room can comfortably sleep one but no longer opens to a bed, we do have a single air mattress available if requested for an extra bed. One full bathroom is located downstairs with tub and shower. The other, also a full bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower is located at the top of the stairs accessible to the house and rental...There is a mini component system with ipod attachment , 1 boom boxes, tv (with dish network) dvd  player and lots of movies and music cds for your use while visiting.

 The house is fully decorated with local crafts and fabrics,library of books and lots of other things to make you feel very much at home while in San Cristobal. Additions include a water filtration system in the kitchen making water from the tap free of bacteria and fine for drinking and cooking, also wifi internet thru out the house and a magic jack plus phone line ....with  a local Los Angeles phone number making all calls to and from the US free of charge (think Vonage) ....Local land line for calls in San Cristobal but no long distance. Pillow top mattresses in each room with electric blankets.
The upstairs room is vacant but not available with the rental. The rental is for the bottom of the house with the upstairs bathroom.There is a property manager down the block for any emergencies.

The Casa is set up as a home away from home, both for myself and the enjoyment of my guests. We're located in the historic district of town on Calle Dr. Navarro in the Barrio El Cerrillo ,2 blocks from the church of Santo Domingo and a 5 minute walk to the zocalo and main mercado.

*** I base my monthly rate on 30 days! Please consult the calendar on this site for availability, I keep it up to date! thanks:-) Nightly and weekly accomodations are sometimes available but I prefer 2 weeks (750-800) or monthly rentals. 3 weeks 825-875. All rates depend on the season, number of guests in your party and length of booking.. Longer term available (over 3 mo.),please inquire via email. A security deposit is required to secure your reservation with 1st month rental fee due 2 months prior to occupancy. Deposit is returned within 14 days after your departure.***Cancellation policy: For anything under 3 mo. rental, I will return your rental fee (if previously paid) but will retain your deposit until I can rebook the time. For long term rentals (3 mo. or more) cancelled within 6 months prior to occupancy, I reserve the right to hold your paid rental fee, until I can rebook to cover most of the time left vacant. (Please understand that people book far in advance for SC and rentals under 6mo. from arrival date tend to be difficult to rebook, its possible, but just pure last minute luck at that point!:-)
