Robyn’s Nest a Charming Waterfront Cottage 

Location:  Millhouse Bayou Grand Haven, Western Michigan, Michigan, 
USA

Accommodations:  Waterfront Vacation Cottage – 1 Bedroom + 1 Queen 
pull-out bed (Sleeps 4 adults)

Robyn’s Nest is a charming waterfront cottage that is large enough 
for a family vacation, yet cozy enough for a romantic getaway.  It’s 
located on Millhouse Bayou in Grand Haven, Michigan in a quaint, 
quiet neighborhood.  It has been updated and is extremely clean and 
cheerful.  Beautiful views of the bayou can be enjoyed from the 
deck, sunroom, living room and bedroom.  

The living room is warm and inviting and has a 27” TV and DVD/VCR 
player.  The kitchen/dining room is spacious. The dining room table 
seats 6 comfortably.  The kitchen is fully-equipped including 
microwave, and coffee maker. The sunny, relaxing sunroom offers 
tranquil views of the bayou.  A private furnished deck with a gas 
grill also overlooks the bayou.  There is one bedroom with a full 
bed and views of the bayou.  A queen sofa bed in the living room.  
The large full bathroom has a tub with a shower and a closet to hang 
clothes.

Have your morning coffee on the private deck or in the sunroom while 
enjoying nature at its best.  Take a morning walk, jog or bike ride 
along the bike/running path.  Enjoy drinks and grilled meals on the 
deck.  In the evening spend family time around the bonfire and roast 
marshmallows, play board games and watch TV or videos/DVD.  

In the summer bring your boat, fishing equipment, bikes, and/or 
roller blades.  A public boat launch ramp is located down the street 
and leads out to Lake Michigan via the Grand River.  A bike/running 
path is located at the corner.  In the winter bring your ice skates, 
ice fishing gear and skis.  The bayou is a great place to catch 
fish, ice skate and/or cross country ski weather permitting. 
Downhill ski on Mulligans Hollow ski hill (8 tow ropes) located in 
downtown Grand Haven. The park also offers cross-country trails, 
lighted ice rink and warming house).

We are located just five miles from downtown Grand Haven and its 
charming boutiques, quaint dining, lively nightclubs, boardwalk, 
musical fountain and Lake Michigan’s beaches.

The Grand Haven area has several kid friendly attractions including 
Imagination Station 10,000 sq. feet of playground, Craig’s Cruisers 
and Yogi’s Fun Zone. 

Take advantage of the many West Michigan Festivals:  Muskegon Summer 
Celebration, Muskegon Air Fair, Unity Christian music and 
celebration and Irish Music Festival and Grand Haven Coast Guard 
Festival. 
    

We are located 20 miles from Muskegon’s award winning Pere Marquette 
public beach, and USS Silversides WWII submarine.  Muskegon area 
attractions include Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park, Port City 
Princess Cruises, Hackley and Hume Historic Site, Great Lakes Downs 
Racing, Muskegon State Park and historic Fort Blockhouse, Muskegon 
Winter Sports Complex and Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Amenities:  Full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and stove and 
dining for six.  Baking and cooking utensils, blender, coffee maker, 
and toaster. A gas gill and patio furniture on the deck, VCR/DVD 
player, stereo, CD player and alarm clock.  Linen provided (Please 
bring your own beach towels).  Board games, books, and VCR and DVD 
also provided.

Rates for 2006 season
Memorial Day to Labor Day…. $ 700/week or $150/day
Additional $ 200/week (July 30 to August 6) (Grand Haven Coast Guard 
Festival July 28 to August 6)  
Additional $ 200/week (July 2 to 9) (Muskegon Summer Celebration 
June 29 to July 9)
Cleaning fee of $ 50.00
Security deposit of $ 200.00 is required
$500 Non-refundable deposit due at time of reservation, balance due 
14 days prior to check in.
