Luxury house on swimmable Pacific beach w/ fantastic views in Vina del Mar

Unlike many condonimiums in this area, this home overlooks a swimmable, safe beach that is just a quick descent downs the stairs.  This wonderful house is made even larger by the expansive terraces and outdoor barbeque areas that can be enjoyed because of the mild Chilean weather and Pacific breeze.  The main house has two large privates bedrooms each with full baths.  The upstairs bedroom has two double beds, a single sleeper couch, and also has a private terrace.  The kitchen and dining room are large and open with an indoor garden and everything you need to dine in and relax.  The barbeque area is equiped with an ingenious Chilean grill.  The pool separates the main house from a 1 bedroom/1 bath guesthouse, also with an additional single sleeper couch, which also have a full kitchen and dining area with a patio by the pool.

The home's location provides easy access to the beach, and it is just a short stroll to numerous restaurants in this "Gastronomic Captiol of the Region".  There is maid service and breakfast is included at no additional charge.  Transportation to and from the airport are also available as needed.  A car and driver can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.  There is high speed internet access with wifi, local phone, and cable TV with DVD in the home. There are fireworks in the bay in front of the house, which can be enjoyed from the terrace on New Year's Eve.  The sunsets are free every day. 

A direct flight from Dallas or Miami will land in Santiago in the morning, in roughly the same time zone, and then you have a 1.5 hour trip to arrive in Concon. This home is a great place for those who enjoy a beach vacation without the heat.  The Pacific ocean provides cooling breezes and fresh air, which makes many outdoor activities so much more enjoyable.   Walking or running along the beach, surfing, or simply relaxing with a book on the sand while the temperatures are in the mid 80s are so much more pleasant that you may find you can extend that daily jog.  Local restaurants features fresh fish and "mariscos" like scallops, clams, and mussels prepared simply and served with fresh salads and bread.  If one enjoys wine, Chilean wines are some of the best in the world and can be enjoyed without breaking the budget.  Vineyards are located within 1 or 2 hours of Concon and are open to the public.  Vina del Mar is a large city with shopping, movies, and more restaurants, but the real beauty lies in its location by the sea.  The sister city, Valparaiso, has been named a world historic site by UNESCO because of the importance of this port city in early Latin American expansion.  Both Vina and Valparaiso are cosmopolitan cities with exciting night life including live music, karaoke and dancing.  Vina del Mar is home to the oldest, most elegant casino in Chile, and there is live and simulcast horseraces at the Valparaiso Sporting Club, the oldest and most presitigious racetrack in the country.
