Tucanes ocean view condo #16 in Playa del Coco

Only 25 minutes from Liberia Airport, this Tucanes condo is a peaceful haven from the chaotic "outside" world. Close enough to civilization yet surrounded by paradise, this is a serene vacation spot you'll want to book again and again. Built in 2007, this two bedroom, one bath condo is about 900 square feet, plus a large covered balcony looking out over Coco Bay.This unit is the closest to the pool and the only one with a private back door that leads out to the staircase up to the pool.  In the early mornings, you'll want to have breakfast on the balcony or just rest and rejuvenate over a steaming cup of gourmet Costa Rican coffee. We have the best view on the 4th floor, but there are 4 flights of outside stairs. The guards are friendly and willing to help carry groceries and suitcases for a tip.Minimum rental 5 nights. If you would like to stay less than 5 nights you can, but the price will be for 5 nights minimum at the rate in place for that season.

Fully furnished, there is a new and very comfortable queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has it's own 18,000 BTU air conditioner and a ceiling fan with light. Tile floors throughout. Kitchen has granite countertops, teakwood cabinets, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and is the only condo with a full range with oven. So if you're planning Thanksgiving or Christmas, you can have a turkey in paradise! You'll find a stackable washer and dryer in the laundry room off the kitchen. There's a secure personal safe on the master bedroom for your valuables. Each guest sets the combination for their own stay so no one will have it but you.

There is a 36" flat screen TV on one wall with basic cable and a DVD player. Cable TV gets US networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and other network shows. Internet cable modem connection is in the condo, wireless internet access at the pool. Fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans throughout.

Property manager Cheryl Grant, a Canadian transplant, lives in the condo complex, so you will have the inside scoop on the best restaurants, fishing trips, activities, local action and anything else that you might need. Owners are U.S. Army Lt. Colonel and wife, so you can be assured of integrity.

50% non-refundable deposit required upon acceptance of reservation; balance and security deposit in full due 30 days prior to arrival. Miniumum damage  deposit $500. We accept money orders and bank wire transfers. Fully refundable security deposit to cover damage to or loss of appliances, furnishings, furniture or property is $75 per day. Security deposit will be refunded within 14 days after property manager completes inspection and inventory. No pets, no smoking in the unit. Any smoke odors or damage will forfeit your security deposit. Minimum rate is $85 per night for rental less than one week, plus $35 maid fee.
