A stunning two bedroom cottage. Built around 1830 with (one double
and one twin bed )This Historic cottage has been Lovingly restored,
with beams, inglenook and wood burning stove. We have kept the
original planked elm doors and pear wood floor boards upstairs and
the flagstone floors downstairs add plenty of character to this well
presented property. This cottage is an ideal retreat for anyone
looking for a vacation in a historic part of Old England that has
not been spoiled by tourism.
There is a Handcrafted traditional pine kitchen with dishwasher,
refridgerator,freezer, washing machine and many other features to
ensure that your stay is very comfortable.
To the front of the cottage, there is a large cottage garden with a
wooden bench, so you can relax in comfort and watch the world go by.
We have also provided a raised private terrace to the rear of the
cottage with garden furniture and a barbeque.
WE HAVE TRIED HARD TO MAKE THIS A REAL HOME FROM HOME.

An attractive village half in England half in Wales with stunning
views from over Llanymynech rock, 3 great pubs (2 in England 1 in
Wales)

Pub Food on offer in the village.(within 200 Yards)

Those wanting excellent shopping should travel to Chester or
Shrewsbury (both Historic Roman Towns 15 miles away)Apple Tree
Cottage is situated half way between both towns.

Llanymynech started in the early 17th century as and old quarry
town and the sheer cliff face left now that quarrying has finished,
is a wonderful natural habitat for wildlfe, a pair of peregrine
falcons have nested on the rock for the last few years. There is
easy access up onto the Rock(as it is know) and an 18 hole golf
course is situated on top, with ramblers walks all around.If you are
a keen Golfer why not play a round of Golf on the course, which is
where Ian Woosnam learned to play.


Golfers will be amazed at the views and quality of the Llanymynech
golf course built on top of Llanymynech rock.

Walkers/hikers are right on the 'Offas dyke trail'.

Those looking for more adventure should head for Llangollen, 12
miles, where white water rafting, rock climbing, canoeing and many
other sports activities are available.
