This lovely three-bedroom townhouse is located on the 17th fairway of the Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland, Florida.

We are 35 minutes from Tampa, 38 minutes to Disney World/Epcot Center and 45 minutes to Orlando.

Tennis courts and swimming pool are adjacent to the unit.  Privileges for use of the Lone Palm Country Club for both golf and dining are available to guests.

Nearby attractions include Busch Gardens, Disney World, Sea World and Kennedy Space Center.  There are many nice restaurants in the area.

Very happy with the Town House

My name is Peter West from Australia stayed for two months in the Townhouse at Lone palm with my Sister and my brother inlaw found the property excellent clean and would recommend it to any future tenant Beverly does a great job maintaining the cleanness we had trouble with the air conditioning one phone call too the agent and problem was repaired ,very much enjoyed my stay in Florida and staying in Lakeland very convenient to Tampa and the East coast amusement Parks the Lone palm Golf Club is wonderful and this Town house is excellent value for money .

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Not worth the money

This place has not had one update since it was built in the 60's. Carpet is so worn and dirty, dust has accumulated around, under and behind heavy furniture and draperies. The pool is surrounded by large trees and has no sunshine on it. We had no heat or AC the entire month we stayed. The tap water is so foul it will gag you. That's why there are no pictures posted of this place.

Owners response: Along time ago, I learned to read and re-read any comments so that I can respond to them in a most thorough way. First off, my background as a Captain in the Strategic Air Command taught me a lot especially not getting overly excited about in-complete statements and half truths.

It was not mentioned that in the last yr we have purchased a new dishwasher, wash machine, refrigerator and king sized mattress. On 4/25 all of the carpet in the entire place was professionally cleaned. As we do every yr. Picts are and have been available on the web site for over 10 yrs. We try to offer our Guests a great value and compared to my other rental unit in Palm Springs CA it is a bargain. The monthly rent in Palm Springs is roughly $4,500 a month for a smaller sq ft unit. My housekeeper has been with me for 25 yrs and she is very sensitive to our needs. I sent her a copy of this ltr and she felt that they did not have all the facts straight but that's ok with us as we will double check our entire unit to make sure that it is in great condition. I doubled checked on the Heat/AC and found out that the repair people had gone out to the unit immediately to check out any trouble. A part was needed which was ordered immediately and within 24 hrs the entire heating system was in perfect shape. As far as the pool that is the responsibility of the home owners association and we contacted them about this complaint. We were advised that their staff spent 2 days cleaning the furniture and power washing the deck. The main issue was the leaves were falling so they would have to skim off the leaves every 2 hrs. It was just too early to swim last year at this time. The board has commissioned a study to evaluate removing about 6 of the lg trees that line the pool which will really help reduce the leaves and give sun to the pool. This would be a $10,000 project at least. They will continue to make the best effort so all can enjoy the area as much as possible. We have no control over the iron content of the water but for people that are sensitive. Perhaps they should use bottled water. As an extra feature of our unit I pay $2,000 a yr to belong to one of the finest Clubs in FL, Lone Palm Country Club which is avail to all of my renters. It is so beautiful and the food is excellent. The only requirement is that they are responsible for their food bill & golf fees. I believe this ltr will answer clearly those complaints. I am open to comments & suggestions.
