Cozy waterfront home on beautiful Lake Talquin.  Enjoy the lake from the open kitchen, dining area ,and family room.  You'll find plenty of enjoyment from the outdoor living arangements that include a screened porch, and a refreshing saltwater POOL.  Bring your boat and head out for a cruise, fish from the dock, go swimming, kayaking, or just relax and enjoy the view from your private dock.

Lake Talquin fishing includes:
* Januay and February: speckled perch (best caught with live minnows)
* March:  White bass may be caught above the lake using live crayfish or grass shrimp
* Spring and Fall: best fishing using deep-diving minnow-type lure  
* Annually: striped bass

Please note this is a family based community and in order for us to provide you with a clean, safe environment the following apply:
1) No house parties   
2) We love pets, but not fleas...so NO pets of any kind permitted. 
3) NO smoking
4) Renter minimum age: 25 years (ID required)

*8,850 acre lake (our home is facing the main body of the lake; it's not on a channel)
* 2 small kayaks
*Private dock to fish from (or bring your boat and/or jet ski)
*Boat ramp is close! Only about a 2 minute walk!

*can sleep up to 9 (Master Suite - King memory foam mattress) (2nd bedroom - queen mattress) (Front room has been converted to area for additional sleeping arrangements- bunk bed with twin mattress on top, & full mattress below) (we have another full size mattress available for additional sleeping). If you need to sleep a 10th person,  the couch is comfy too.
*initial set of linens, pillows, and toilet tissue provided.
* 2 1/2 baths (full bath in master, full bath in 2nd bedroom, and half bath in coverted front room)
*bath towels provided (but please bring your own beach towels and life jackets)

** Please note that the pool does NOT currently have an additional child safety fence and there is no fence between our house and the lake.  If you bring children, please take this into consideration.

Tallahassee area is less than 30 miles from lakehouse. Things to do:
sporting events (football, baseball, basketball, etc...), concerts, festivals, museums, state parks, shopping, and movies.

Surrounding areas: Wakulla Springs, St. Marks River, antiquing (in Havana, Quincy, and Thomasville, GA), Wild Adventures in Valdosta GA, and the beach (Alligator Point, Carrabelle, St. George Island, and Appalachicola).
