The Jamaica Ocean View Villa boasts five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, three of which are in-suite. For large groups, we often bring in extra beds, and the villa doesn’t feel any smaller for it. The master suite is particularly luxurious, including a flat-screen TV, double shower, and oversized jacuzzi tub. All five bedrooms open onto private terraces, and three offer breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The back of the house leads to another terrace—the perfect place to sip cocktails while you listen to the waves or watch the kids playing in the pool. The house has an elegant yet casual feel, and the mahogany staircase and local artwork add a hint of tropical flair. At Rio Nuevo Ocean View Villa, in addition to being spacious, clean and comfortable, every bedroom offers a beautiful ocean or tropical garden view.  Comforts and amenities include:

Pool & Bar

Refresh yourselves inside and out, all day long.  There is no pool or bar closing times.  Make yourself at home, everything is available to you, anytime.  To have the bar stocked to your group’s liking, simply make your selections along with your reservations.  Light or hot snacks can be available or to order.  Your personal butler will bring your drink to you at the pool, in your bedroom or anywhere in your villa.

Yours is a large pool, 18X25 feet, for the private enjoyment of you and your guests.  Inflatables and other pool accessories are available for play and leisure.

Yours are the only windows overlooking your pool.  By prior arrangement, your staff can be as available or as discreet as you wish.

Golf & Spa

When you are a guest at Rio Nuevo Ocean View Villa, you have your choice of 6 world-class golf courses and every spa treatment you wish.  These are a la carte arrangements with fees determined by each provider.

Your butler secures all your golf gear in your private  van/car. If you wish, your driver will be waiting for you as you stroll off the 18thhole.  All your belongings will be collected for you, checked, cleaned and returned to your room.

Spa and beauty treatments are different.  Not only can you be chauffeured to any one of a dozen luxury spas and salons in the Jamaica, we can bring the service in-house for your group to enjoy, in the privacy of Rio Nuevo Ocean View Villa.  Spa, salon and barber services are available for both men and women.  Ladies, mani-pedi is not just for special occasions, it’s for all of us special ladies.

Rio Nuevo Beach and Battle Site Park

Stroll down the fairy tale  steps of your private villa to breathtaking Rios Nuevo Bay.  In 1658, invading British forces made their historic landing here. Enjoy snorkeling, sunbathing or relaxing under the shade of almond trees. Relax with a book and sip ice-cold fruit cocktails, brought to you by your villa butler. Children can swim in the shallows and comb the beach for seashells.  Rio Nuevo Ocean View Villa provides beach chairs and snorkeling equipment.

If there is a water sport your group would like, water skiing, jet skiing, para-sailing, these can be arranged.  Banana boat and tubing are tremendous fun for older children and adults alike.  Or charter a boat for a day on the Caribbean Sea. Your villa cook will be happy to pack you a picnic.  Scuba certification lessons can also be arranged and enjoyed in the safety of your private villa pool.

A short drive west of Rio Nuevo Bay is Jamaica Beach. Just off Jamaica Beach lies the Rio Nuevo Wall, one of the world’s best reefs for scuba diving. 

Rio Nuevo Battle Site Park is just a short walk from Rio Nuevo Ocean View Villa.  This Jamaican National Historic Trust site is where the British won control of Jamaica.  With its natural beauty, the park is gaining popularity as a location for the romantic Jamaican wedding.  Entrance to the park is free.

Chukka Cove: A full equestrian complex, offering everything from polo to trail rides. They also offer mountain bike tours and river tubing

Green Gratto Cave: Take an underground tour through these historic caves with a crystal-clear lake at the bottom located between Discovery and Runaway Bays. The first Jamaicans, the Arawak Indians (Tainos) found shelter in the caves initially. Proof of this is evident in the multiple fragments of pottery and adzes that are unearthed from time to time. During the period of take-over by the English, the caves were used as a hideout for the Spaniards who were being driven out of the country.

Fern Gully: Drive through this 2 mile long ravine filled with ferns and other exotic vegetation.

Coyaba River Garden & Museum: These gardens featuring lush tropical vegetation and the beautiful Mahoe Falls are haven of tranquility in the foot hills above Ocho Rios

Crabbrook Gardens: Lovely gardens with great walking trails.

Shaw Park Gardens, a tame hummingbird that enjoys hamming it up for photographers.

Reggae Beach

The perfect location for a Jamaican beach wedding, this quarter mile stretch of white sand beach is nestled into a lush tropical jungle. Guests can relax under a palm tree with a fresh fruit cocktail served in a coconut from the "Village Beach Bar". Sample the Caribbean cuisine like fresh fish, lobster, conch or spicy jerk chicken from the grill

Mahogany Beach

A smaller and more intimate alternative to the larger beaches, Mahogany Beach is located at the east end of Ocho Rios. There is no entry fee and features a bar, restaurant and a roped-off swimming area in the sea which is restricted to marine traffic.

James Bond Beach

The beach features the former residence of Ian Fleming, writer of James Bond and served as part of the set for the movie Dr. No. There is a small fee of $3(USD) for entry and guests can enjoy the sand and surf of this famous locale. Rentals of water sports equipment are available and make for a unique experience for those James Bond fans who are looking for their own exciting ride in the Caribbean Sea

Shopping

Ocean View offers to  pre-stocked food for the first night's dinner and next morning's breakfast. Prior to the trip, guests will be provided with meal suggestions and can look forward to experiencing the local shopping district for collecting the freshest fruits, vegetables and seafood.

For confirmation 20% deposit is required; balance is due 30 days before arrival (winter season 60 days prior to arrival).

We accept  all major credit cards, personal checks, money gram, and wire transfers.

All personal checks must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival.

Rates does not includes airport transfers, meals or alcholic beverages.

The bar is fully stocked and beverages are all reasonable priced.

Your cook can accompany you to the surpermarket or she can do your grocery shopping for you.

Villa staff includes cook/manager, housekeeper, Laundress, grounds person and Butler.
There are no additional charges for the full-time staff, but please do allow for staff gratuities at the end of your stay.
