Sheehan’s Acorn Cabin is located on Chief Lake of the Chippewa  
Flowage. The Chippewa Flowage contains 17,000 acres of water. With  
140 islands, there are over 200 miles of undeveloped shoreline,  
making it the largest wilderness lake in Wisconsin. You will be  
sharing the wilderness with loons, herons, bald eagles, otters,  
deer, black bears and a multitude of other species. The wide  
diversity of prime habitat includes numerous species of fish,  
including walleye, bass, crappies, northern pike, jumbo perch,  
panfish and most notably the mighty muskellunge. The Chippewa  
Flowage is the home of the world record “Musky” of 69lbs., 11ozs.  
and a whopping 63 1/2 inches long.  
 
The cabin has been professionally remodeled and decorated. We kept  
the look of an original Northwoods cabin. It has a panoramic view  
with a breathtaking sunrise over Chief Lake. The cabin has 2  
bedrooms (1 double bed in each bedroom), living room, full bath and  
lakeside kitchen. There is a large deck to relax and enjoy the view,  
along with planning your activities. Included is a dock and swimming  
area for your boat and water activities. There are two full service  
resorts and a boat launch within walking distance. There is an  
abundance of resorts and dining clubs for your dining out enjoyment.

$500 Refundable Security/Damage deposit required  
Cabin sleeps 4 maximum – 2 double beds 
Weekly – Saturday 3:00pm check-in to Saturday 10:00am checkout 
Sheets, pillows and pillow cases provided

A $250 security deposit plus advance payment is required to confirm  
booking. In the case of a cancellation deposits will be returned,  
less $50 processing fee. No refund of deposit will be returned  
unless reservation is rebooked.
