Convenient but in need of cleaning and maintenance

The location is convenient and it was nice to have separate rooms for our kids, however...

The tile floor is not clean--my children walked barefoot for less than five minutes and the bottoms of their feet were black.

When we arrived the hot tub was almost empty. The water level was less than a foot deep which means no one is maintaining it and probably not treating it with a chlorine shock the way it should be between guest stays. We did call maintenance and they came and filled it up but we were not comfortable getting in after that since it is very likely it is not clean from lack of maintenance. There is also a hole in the screen door large enough to reach in and unlock the door from the outside which probably means someone else is accessing and using the hot tub.

There were lightbulbs missing in most of the light fixtures. Most rooms only had one lamp that worked and the electrical outlets were not working in the bathroom downstairs or the master bathroom upstairs.

We had to purchase batteries for the remotes in the living room. There were no batteries in all three remotes.

And lastly, I mistakenly left a drawer full of clothes in the condo when we checked out. I contacted the owner and the maintenance group the same day we checked out to see if they would ship my clothes to me (of course, I would pay for it). The maintenance group got back to me and said they would call me back within the hour to let me know if my clothes were recovered by housekeeping and how they would get them back to me. They never called me back. I left five messages after that with no return phone call. I tried contacting the owner and he just referred me back to the local maintenance group. I know my clothes were in that drawer and I understand the owner is not liable and it was my mistake, but I would think they would be willing to drop them in a box and ship them to me if I reimbursed them for it. Instead, I guess they decided to keep them for themselves.

Felt like home!

The Coral Cay Resort felt like home. Close to Disney parks, in a quiet gated community. My family of 10 were going to rent separate hotel rooms, but found Vacation Home Rentals. Price wasn't bad compared to extended stay type hotels. It was the best choice we could have made, everyone in one place! Pointed out some items needing attention. Nothing everyone couldn’t deal with. Rental process was easy, all correspondences was timely, making check in and out painless. I wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub and theater! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Coral Cay Resort again!

great place close to disney

My husband and I with our two small kids travelled to Disney for a week. It was nice and close, spacious, clean and had lots of restaurants, shops within minutes. there is a pool in the community but we spent all our time at Disney so never tried it but it was right across the road. Would easily stay there again.
