Fontana Passion Lake Lodge is a luxury 5 bedroom log home directly on Fontana Lake with a private dock/slide and views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.  This log home is a secluded, quiet, scenic, and peaceful vacation escape destination in the smoky mountains of North Carolina.

Very close to whitewater rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, world class mountain biking at Tsali recreation center, hiking/exploring the Great Smoky mountain national park, and touring the scenic roadways like the Tail of the Dragon (hwy 28).

Our log home provides luxury amenities such as granite in all 3 1/2 bathrooms and kitchen, stainless steel full kitchen with a 36 bottle wine cooler, kitchen seating for 16, home theatre style seating in living room with 55" LCD, and wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a king bed, large electric fireplace, and a 32" LCD, reading area, jacuzzi tub, and slate tiled shower. The main level has a large half bath with granite countertop.  The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a fishing and bear theme and both have king beds and share a bathroom. "Hunting Lodge" themed game area downstairs with regulation sized pool table/air hockey/ping pong, and a foosball table, Wii and x-box 360 and 55" LCD, wet bar/mini bar with 45 lb icemaker, 4 nail studded leather bar stools, pull out leather sofa, 10 person stadium seating movie theatre with reclining leather seats, double sided see-thru gas fireplace and library room with 2 reclining chairs for relaxation and reading.  Front bedroom has king bed and back bedroom has 2 bunk beds. The downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. Outside: Private dock with slide, 7 person hot tub, playset with slide/swings/upstairs fort/activity table, fire pit with seating, single kayak and a double kayak and a paddle board. There are 3 mountain bikes available.  We have 4 rocking chairs and a checkers/chess barrel on the main floor deck along with 2 reclining lounge chairs.  We have a 4 log seat conversation area on the lower deck and a 7' long table with benches for picnicing on the lower level.   We have a hammock on the lower level area.  An 18' pontoon boat and 3 person jet ski is also available for rent

We are located directly on Fontana Lake which is a 30 mile long, 256 miles of shoreline, pristing mountain wilderness lake with very little boat traffic and homes.  Fontana Lake has incredible fishing/swimming/and boating.We are minutes away from hiking trails, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and local arts/crafts.  Area attractions include Smoky Mountain railway, Fontana Dam, Cherokee with "unto these hills" drama and museum, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, gem mining, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, Santa's Land in Cherokee, and Biltmore House in Ahseville.

Our home is stocked with linens/towels/toilet paper/paper towels/shower gel/shampoo and conditioner.  Our kitchen is stocked with flour/sugar/brown sugar/spices/salt/pepper/syrup/honey/coffee/filters/creamer/cleaning supplies.  We have a full stock of firewood for the upstairs fireplace and fire pit.  We are dedicated to making your stay feel like home without having to purchase all the basics.
