Lakefront Paradise in the Finger Lakes with CENTRAL AIR in Owasco Lake

This private and peaceful home, built in 2004, has 1700 sq. ft. It has the split floor plan with the master suite on one end of the house and the other 2 bedrooms and a bathroom at the other end. The large master suite has a king size bed, walk through closet, huge master bath with an oversized walk-in shower and a closeted washer and dryer. The master has French doors that open onto the large deck over looking the lake. Bedroom 2 is large and has a double bed, and 2 singles. The third bedroom has a queen bed. All bedrooms have a dresser and a closet. Most important, they have quality mattresses. This home comfortably sleeps 8 people without using any sofa beds, cots, or rollaway beds.

The living area seats 8 very comfortably. There are 2 large couches, a recliner and a cushy chair and ottoman.

The dining table seats 8 people.

The spacious kitchen has a large refrigerator with many cabinets and abundant counter top space. It is equipped with all the utensils and appliances that you could possibly need along with a dishwasher, of course.

The master, living and dining areas and kitchen all have beautiful views of the lake through all the large windows (which are cleaned every Saturday).. The elderly guests really appreciate that everything is on one level, even stepping onto the large deck.

Most of our guests' favorite place to hang is on the huge deck. There is a hot tub, large table with 6 cushioned chairs and 2 tall slingback chairs that allow guests to marvel at the full views of the lake. There is 85 feet of your own private lakefront to enjoy. This area of the lake is very clean, making swimming and water sports a pleasure. Fishing is excellent right off the dock. The water starts out shallow and gradually gets deeper with no drop-offs. Perfect for the family.

There is an attached garage for your car or for your fishing gear, rafts, bikes, coolers, etc

In the back of the house is your gas grill for family BBQs.

This home has the Number One amenity that most lake rentals do not have: CENTRAL AIR.   There are plenty of outdoor chairs and lounges for relaxing. Linens are provided along with towels, pillows, and blankets with extras of everything in the closets. There are start up supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, liquid soap, laundry soap, and automatic dish washer soap. There is plenty of cleaning products.  Other amenities include: large and small coolers, a blow up raft, binoculars, plenty of pamphlets and tour guide booklets  to help you choose which attractions to see, hair dryer,  alarm clocks, adult and kids' games and books, some toys for kids, 3 TVs, satellite, a DVD player,  and internet access. There is a hot tub on the deck for a $150 fee.

While you are staying in the Finger Lakes Region, it is hard to pass up the famous winery tours. Shoppers would enjoy visiting Auburn's new Bass Pro Shop and the nearby Prime Outlets. There are live theater productions at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, and first run movies at two large movie complexes and a drive-in. Hikers would enjoy nearby Fillmore Glen State Park or Buttermilk Falls. We have our own hiking trails and beautiful cascades to enjoy on our own property.  History buffs could visit the Harriet Tubman Home, the Seward House and the Women's Rights Museum. The nearby quaint town, Skaneateles, offers fine dining, unique shops and relaxing boat tours . An hour away is the Finger Lakes Race Track and its exciting gambling facility. Niagara Falls is only 2 1/2 hours away. One mile from home is a marina and a restaurant - both accessible by boat or car. Sports fans have the nearby Nascar tracks, minor league baseball and car shows.In August, the NY JETS training camp is in Cortland only 23 miles away. The Buffalo BILLS are training in Pittsford only 71 miles away. This is a great opportunity to get autographs from the players, and it's all free of charge. Of course you can always just relax at your lakefront paradise and watch the boats, the wild life and the waves lap the shore. Enjoy.
