The house has large patio for barbeques with seating for more than 10. There are two balconies on second and third floors with great water views. Whole house has been remodeled with granite, travertine and natural stone bathrooms. First floor has two queens, full bath, wadrobe closet, tv.with dvd and french doors open to patio.Second floor living area has flat screen t.v. and kitchen with  dining  and living area all open to entertaining, with second floor bedroom for 4 to sleep comfortably. Third floor has king size bed with t.v. and full bathroom and balcony. The three story home is fully furnished with fresh linens and comes with free cleaning.

SLEEPS 10 plus baby, has 4 showers, one outdoor hot and cold plus 3 full indoor, has 3 queen ,1 full ,1 king and a queen futon. three t.v's,  Flatscreen and wifi, stereo, with ipod 2 dvd's and movie library, Dining for 8 at the bar style table and breakfast nook accomodate 10 comfortably. All bathrooms have been updated with natural stone, granite and travertine. Parking for 2 cars one suv and one compact. Gas barbeque and washer dryer on premises.

Sea World within 3 miles, 5 minutes to Airport, Old Town,Gaslamp Quarters,Petco Park, Little Italy.  LaJolla is 10 minutes north with fine dining as well. Within walking distance to Belmont Park and local dining and  shopping on Garnet St in Pacific Beach area.

Great Location

Was here with some buddies from college and had a great time. You are literally mere feet from the beach and right around the corner from Mission Blvd where there are a ton of shops. We slept 8 grown men fairly comfortably and while it boasts 10, make sure a few are kids or couples sharing the queen beds. Name of the game here is location location location. Walking distance to so many different places and a great spot to be central in MB. The house was in great shape and had a great common room to congregate and hang out as well as a fantastic patio area for BBQ'ing and hanging out. Really enjoyed our stay in SD and would look to rent here again.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car

Summer Vacation July 2012

Our family of 4 adults and my brother and sister-in-laws family of 4 adults stayed very comfortably in the home. Between the two families there were 2 couples and 4 young adults (ages 18-25) and everyone was able to sleep in an actual bed and not fight over bathrooms. It was great having plenty of space for all of us to gather and for all of us to separate as well. I think we enjoyed the ground level patio the most. We cooked all of our dinners out on the grill and everyone was able to eat at the large table on the patio as we watched the sun set. It was awesome just being steps from the beach. We would haul our stuff out and set up our shade canopy in the mornings and then go back and forth between the house and the beach all day.

I was nervous about renting from a home-owner as we have stayed at the same condos in Pacific Beach for over 20 years. However, we needed space to accomodate two families. Everything went smoothly and the owners were great to work with. I brought a lot of my own supplies but found that I didn't have to use them as the home was stocked so well with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. As for the garage, we were able to fit a Tahoe and a Dodge Caliber. It was tight, but it worked!

When we need more space for a larger group, we will definitely be back!

Family fun

This is our fourth summer vacation in Mission Beach and found 707 Portsmouth to be the perfect location. Our family of six adults and four teenage grandchildren enjoyed all the room, the large TV made watching the ball games very enjoyable. A big plus was the large patio, with outdoor grill. There was room for our extended family of twenty for evening outdoor meals. Yes, I would strongly recommend 707. Especially for large family vacation.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway
