Bowsprit Bungalow in Hubbards

Our home is located down a private lane which ends at the shoreline. Bowsprit is an ideal  home base for tourists as it is equidistant from Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and Halifax. There are many picturesque coves to explore nearby or you can just stay home and relax and watch the boats go in and out of the cove while you sit on one of the two front decks or the side deck. The view of the water is ever-changing and you can enjoy an invigorating swim  just off the launch area.   Bowsprit is completely winterized so it is a great getaway during the winter months too.

The kitchen, dining area and living room is an open area and there are two bedrooms (the larger one has  a queen sized bed and the other a double) and the TV den has a pull-out couch that can sleep 2 comfortably.  There is a laundry room with washer and dryer.  The main bathroom has a tub and shower and the tiny bathroom has an additional toilet.

This is an ideal spot to rest and relax  in a quiet setting by the sea. This is not the place for loud noisy parties or excessive noise.  This is a non-smoking home. Sorry but we are unable to accommodate pets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery, microwave, stove and fridge. A telephone is available for local calls and with your phone calling card you can place long distance calls.    Sheets and towels, dish towels, dish cloths are provided. There is a 32 inch flat screen and DVD player  in the den and an HD TV in the larger bedroom. Wi-Fi is available. A small rustic barbeque has  a supply of briquets.

The rates for the  summer months of July and August are $185 (minimum 2 nights) and $1250 weekly.

June and September are $170 and $1150.

October to May- $155 and $1050

A (refundable) "damage deposit is required.  At the time of booking, half of the total amount (and a signed rental agreement ) is required  in order to confirm your reservation and the other half is due two weeks before you arrive
