Somerset: 4 suites, hot tub, theater, pool table, weddings in Luray

Somerset is our premiere property for multiple couples and large families. Somerset is a custom log home with nearly 5,000 square feet of mountain living. There are four suites, each with a king bed and private bathroom. There is a fifth bedroom in the lower level with a queen bed and futon. A full bathroom is on this level. There is another double futon in the loft. The great room has a 12 foot dining table perfect for big family meals or meetings. Adjacent to the great room is a large custom kitchen with a bar area, pub table and breakfast nook. The total seating in this area will accomodate 25 people. Relax in a rocker on the covered front porch and take in a view of the grounds and Blue Ridge Mountains beyond. The back deck has patio tables and chairs and a large gas grill. One of the best features of Somerset is the covered and screened hot tub deck featuring an 8 person hot tub, fireplace and wireless sound system. The lower level has a theater (100 inch screen, surround sound and leather seating), pool table and 8 person card table. Somerset is perfect for several couples, large families, bridal parties and corporate retreats. Somerset is also suitable for weddings, our yard will accommodate a large tent. Shenandoah Woods has a video projector and PA system available for a nominal fee. 

Shenandoah Woods: Shenandoah Woods is our private 200 acre valley in the shadows of Shenandoah National Park, south of Luray, Virginia. We have seven vacation properties, a new Wedding Pavilion, a stocked pond, picnic shelter, lots of mountain hiking and seclusion. We have properties designed for couples, families, multiple familes, corporate retreats and civic groups like churches and scouts. Large groups often reserve multiple properties. We want our guests to have fun but our properties are NOT for wild parties. Fraternities looking for a party house should look elsewhere.

Rates: $800 per night (includes up to 12 adults and up to 12 children). $1600 for 2 day weekend, $2200 for 3 day weekend, $4100 for Sat to Sat, $3400 for Fri to Fri or Sun to Sun. 2 night minimum, 3 night minimum on holiday weekends, $200 reduction per night after the first 2 nights. Add 10% for local and state taxes. 50% required to confirm a reservation with the balance due upon arrival.
