Vacation Rental Description

Isla del Sol is a beautifully landscaped, well cared for island 
community surrounded by Boca Ciega Bay, on the tip of Pinellas County. 
It is ideally placed between St Petersburg and St. Pete's beach and 
centrally situated to be within an easy drive of Tampa - 35 minutes, 
Orlando and the Parks one and a half to two hours, Busch Gardens 45 
minutes.   
 
The condo (890 square feet), has two bedrooms, the master bedroom is 
en-suite and has a queen size bed.  The guest bedroom has a full size 
bed  and is accessed via a small lobby which contains the washer/drier 
and is curtained off from the living area.  The bathroom is also 
accessed via this lobby so although it is not en-suite, it is quite 
private.  Each of the bedrooms has ample drawer and closet space.  
Both bedrooms and bathrooms come supplied with plenty of bed linen and 
towels. 
 
The comfortable seating area has cable TV/VCR/DVD Player, 
Radio/CD/Tape Player.  The largest of the sofas folds out into a queen 
size bed. 
 
Our screened patio overlooks the golf course and faces west, receiving 
the afternoon sun.  You could spend some relaxing time, with a cold 
drink, spotting the many varieties of bird which are resident here. 
 
There is a designated car parking space for the condo which is 
practically outside the front door. Guest spaces are also available 
very nearby.

Vacation Rental Amenities

All of the domestic appliances including the air conditioning system 
and plumbing are covered by a maintenance contract, so if anything 
goes wrong you can be confident it will be dealt with immediately.  No 
agencies or intermediaries involved, you will deal direct with the 
owners or owners' family at all times so you may be sure you will 
always receive a personal service. 
 
A fishing pier (salt water fishing) is available for guests, with no 
permit or licence required.  The swimming pool is a short walk away 
and overlooks the bay, where  dolphins and manatees are often seen.  
For enthusiasts of the type of  pool played with a cue, the recreation 
room has a pool table for guests' use, and we have a set of balls and 
a cue. 
 
Although the condo has a small washing machine/drier, for larger 
loads, or bulky items, a laundry room is available for a small charge 
per load.   
 
The area is very secure, being patrolled from 1pm to 9am by Security 
Personnel.

Activities and Attractions

Within a very short drive are beaches, all kinds of sport facilities, 
movies, fine dining, fast food outlets, shopping, museums, nature 
walking etc.  The Island has its own small shopping area within 
walking distance, and has some dining and a bank.  
 
Fort de Soto Park is 7 miles away, and was rated the no 1 rated beach 
in the US in 2005,  and one of the top 5 in the world.  All parking, 
showers, toilets and picnic area/barbecues, childrens' play areas  are 
provided free.  There is also fishing (two piers), for which permits 
are required, bicycle, roller blade and canoe hire.   
 
Thinking of getting married on the beach.  You couldn't choose a nicer 
spot.  Our son did it in 2006 and it was perfect  
 
There are far more activities than can be mentioned here.  This area 
has EVERYTHING within easy reach, and good weather too.  How can you 
resist.

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to secure rental 
 
 
All prices are current 2007/8 and include all fees,  taxes, 
electricity, cleaning and laundering of bed linen and towels.  
 
                THE PRICE YOU SEE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY 
 
A refundable security  deposit of $250 will be required against loss 
and/or damage and is payable along with the balance. 
 
Rental terms and conditions and cancellation policy will be supplied 
on request. 
 
 
For those of you who have a pet you wish to bring with you, we accept 
de-clawed cats and small (up to 15lb) well behaved dogs.  An extra fee 
of $50 is payable per pet per rental period.
