Vacation Rental Description

Two-story, nicely decorated and spacious house. Located in Uaymitun, 
a quiet and very private neighborhood where you can enjoy the beach 
and breezes, palm trees, stars, spectacular sunrises and sunsets. 

Master bedroom with AC, ensuite bathroom and king size bed. 
The house has two terraces, one covered on the front and another 
one in the back, where you can have an intimate dinner cooked in 
your built in charcoal grill.
 
Come see, where 65 million years ago in Chicxulub, a meteorite 6 
miles wide and 180 miles long slammed into earth. The impact has 
been linked to a major biological catastrophe, where more than 50 
percent of the earth's species, including the dinosuars, became 
extinct. Come see where history was made.

Beautiful and comfortable, located 40 minutes from Mérida, 10 from 
Progreso and 5 from village of Chicxulub. Fully equiped. Stove, 
fridge and hot water heater. 

Uaymitun is the spot with the most beautiful beaches in the area. 
Priceless view at dawn and dusk. The beaches are wide and great for 
walking. Coral reefs a couple meters away from the property 
excellent for snorkelling.

Public transportation goes by right behind the house every 20 
minutes towards Chicxulub, Progreso, Mérida and Telchac. However, 
having a car would be more comfortable. 
The locals at Chicxulub are very friendly and you can find there 
most of the services: laundry, telephone, internet, market (meat, 
seafood, veggies, etc), video store, etc.  

1 hour drive from Mérida airport and 4 from Cancun.

Activities and Attractions

Seashelling, walks on the beach.
Observation tower for bird watching, which allows you to see 
thousands of exotic birds near by.
In the area:
Beach club where you can take lessons of wind and kite surf, 
sailing and has a delicious restaurant.
Fishing and scuba diving can be arranged in Chicxulub with the local 
fishermen.
X'cambo mayan ruins.
18 hole golf court near by.

Vacation Rental Rates

September - June $420 USD per week or $1,200 USD per month
December 15 till January 5th $590 usd per week
July - US $4,500 per month
August - US $4,500 per month
Holy and Easter - US$1,100 each week
Security Deposit: 300 USD
Minimum Rental Period 1 week

The caretakers clean the house once a week and can help you 
with anything you might need. English spoken by property 
manager.
