Vacation Rental Description

These two log cabins are located just fifteen minutes outside of 
Boone (just minutes from the Blue Ridge Pkwy) and are situated in a 
postcard like setting on 21 beautiful acres with nearly 1/2 mile of 
stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabins. If you 
are looking for a streamside cabin you will not find a better 
location anywhere. The relaxing sound of the rushing stream and 
waterfalls (there is a 60 ft waterfall a short hike away) can be 
heard throughout the property, and there is abundant wildlife 
including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers, and birds. These cabins 
can be rented together or individually which makes them ideal for 
anything from a honeymoon or romantic weekend to a large family or 
multi family vacation. The main cabin, "Trout Retreat",  has two full baths,a king bed, 
and a sleeper sofa and sleeps 2-4. The guest cabin, "Creekside", has a full bath, 
a queen bed, and a sleeper sofa and also sleeps 2-4. Both cabins 
have full kitchens with all the utensils, linens, and towels 
necessary to make your stay comfortable. The main cabin has a large 
screened porch, and both cabins  have decks that overlook the stream 
with picnic tables where you can have a unique dining experience or 
simply sit and relax to the sights and sounds of the stream. Both 
cabins also have gas fireplaces to create a warm and cozy 
atmoshere.  These cabins offer privacy with easy access in a setting 
that is unique and picturesque. These cabins also come with access 
to an additional 20 acres (this gives a total of 41 acres) for 
additional trout fishing, hiking, or atv riding.

Activities and Attractions

Excellent fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicing, and 
campfires are all available on the property. Horseback riding within 
10 minutes at Leatherwood stables. Downtown Boone is a short 15 
minute drive and Blowing Rock is a 30 minute drive both of which 
provide excellent dining and shopping. Golf, Tweetsie Railroad, gem 
mines, many antique shops, fly fishing, hunting, mountain biking, 
white water rafting, atv trails, and 4 ski areas are all within a 30-
45 minute drive. These cabins also have access to an additional 20 
acres (this gives a total of 41 acres) for additional trout fishing, 
hiking, or atv riding.

Holiday rates may be higher
rates do not include 7% saes tax, 6% occupancy tax, and cleaning 
fees ($75 for Trout Retreat and $55 for Creekside)
